    摘要: A light-weight sound absorbing and insulating plastic sheet material which exhibits an excellent sound absorbing and insulating effect even in the low- and medium-pitched sound range for use in building materials and sound-proof walls and a sound absorbing and insulating plastic panel using the plastic sheet material are provided. The sound absorbing and insulating plastic sheet material of the present invention comprises a plastic sheet-formed substance and magnetic fluid-enclosing capsules contained in the sheet-formed substance. The sound absorbing and insulating plastic panel of the present invention comprises the above-mentioned sound absorbing and insulating plastic sheet material and a fiber-reinforced plastic sheet bound to at least one side of the sheet material. The sound absorbing and insulating plastic sheet material and the sound absorbing and insulating plastic panel of the present invention are excellent also in electromagnetic wave shielding effect.

    摘要: Provided are microcapsules enclosing therein a magnetic fluid, which are useful for imparting sound-absorbing and insulating ability to building materials, etc. by incorporation thereinto or adhesion thereto by means of an adhesive, and processes for producing the microcapsules. The heat-expandable microcapsule of the present invention comprises (i) a shell composed of a thermoplastic resin and (ii) a magnetic fluid which is a dispersion of magnetic substance fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5-200 nm in a hydrophobic organic solvent and a hydrophobic liquid foaming agent, both enclosed in the shell. The hollow microcapsule of the present invention comprises (i) a shell composed of a thermoplastic resin, and (ii) a magnetic fluid which is a dispersion of magnetic substance fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5-200 nm in a hydrophobic organic solvent and a vacant cell both included in the shell. The coating material of the present invention comprises at least one of these sound-absorbing and insulating microcapsules.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a fiber-reinforced resin pipe which including the steps of forming a plurality of layers by alternately winding a cloth-like material and a continuous fiber on a core. Placing the core in a split type outer mold having an inner surface which forms a desired outer surface of the pipe. Injecting a liquid synthetic resin between the outer mold and the core so that the liquid resin is integrated with the layers and cured into a molded product. Removing the molded product from the outer mold after the resin has cured and removing the core form the molded product.

    摘要: A radome not having a sandwich structure but having a canape structure is formed with an object to obtain a radome of a canape structure having a satisfactory radio property, and moreover, an excellent mechanical strength by providing a matching layer to a skin layer on an interior side of a radome. The skin layer is formed of layered glass fiber cloths and resin impregnated therein. The layered glass fiber cloths can be replaced with glass fiber mats. For the matching layer, a foamed material, such as a urethane material having a low permittivity, or a core material having a resin impregnating property can be used. A radome of a canape structure can be obtained with the skin layer and the matching layer.
