A polypropylene resin composition comprising:(A) 45 to 70% by weight of an ethylene-propylene block copolymer synthesized under the process comprising the steps of;(a) polymerizing propylene with a Ziegler-Natta catalyst to obtain a highly crystalline polypropylene that contain not less than 97% by weight of a fraction insoluble in boiling n-heptane, and(b) copolymerizing ethylene with the polypropylene (a), and which(a) contains 0.5 to 10% by weight of ethylene,(b) contains 5 to 20% by weight of a fraction being soluble in p-xylene at room temperature and having an intrinsic viscosity value of not less than 2 (measured in decalin at 135.degree. The present invention provides a polypropylene-based resin composition which is light weighing, has a very high values of stiffness and heat resistance, exhibits superior scratchproof property and is superior in the processibility with better flowability upon molding thereof, especially that can favorably be used for injection molding. The polypropylene-based resin composition according to the present invention is constituted predominantly of polypropylene and has the following characteristic features A and B: A: a melt flow rate (MFR), determined at 230° C. under a load of 2.16 kg, in the range of 5-50 g/10 min. and B: a content of a high molecular weight polypropylene having an intrinsic viscosity [&eegr;] of 9-13 dl/g in the range of 15-30% by weight.

The present invention relates to a reinforced polypropylene composition comprising a polypropylene component (a modified polypropylene or a mixture of said modified polypropylene and an unmodified polypropylene), an ethylene-propylene copolymer, a glass fiber and mica having an average particle diameter of 40-160 .mu.m and an average aspect ratio of 30-85. This composition can provide molded articles of very low warpage and is useful for the production of molded articles, particularly core materials of instrument panels for automobiles requiring high rigidity, high heat resistance and deformation resistance.
