    摘要: In a film forming method of an organic thin film for an optical information recording medium, the speed of forming the film can be increased and the quantity of the waste dust which is produced in the process of film forming can be decreased. Moreover, the ratio of the number of fluorine atoms to the number of the carbon atoms contained in the under layer is controlled to be less than 1.8, whereby the heat resistance of the under layer is improved and thermal deformation of an uneven pattern of the substrate can be prevented so that the endurance life of the optical information recording medium can be prolonged.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a microcomputer which controls components for executing an image forming operation, and sends a signal to a supervising portion when no abnormality occurs in itself. The supervising portion includes a watch-dog timer, and sends a reset signal to the microcomputer when the signal from the microcomputer is not continuously inputted for a predetermined time period or more. Accordingly, the microcomputer becomes in a reset state, and the image forming operation is stopped. A flag is not set until a predetermined time period elapses from a time that the reset signal is inputted, and therefore, the image forming operation is inhibited for the predetermined time period.

    摘要: A complex recording apparatus includes a housing. A platen glass is provided at an upper portion of the housing, and an analog optical system which reads a copy original put on the platen glass is provided within the housing. Furthermore, above the housing, a platen cover which holds the copy original put on the platen glass and a digital optical system which reads a facsimile original supplied from an outside are independently provided. When a paper is manually inserted into a manual paper insertion port formed on a side surface of the housing, a paper sensor is turned-on. In receiving facsimile image data, if the paper sensor is turned-on, the facsimile image data is written in a RAM, and if the paper sensor is not turned-on, an image forming unit performs an image forming operation according to the facsimile image data read from the RAM.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum which is exposed by a line head. The line head includes a fluorescent head having a plurality of individually driveable light points which are aligned in a plurality of sublines in the direction of the width of the photosensitive drum. Respective light points of the fluorescent head are driven by a line driver in accordance with drive data from a shift register which holds the drive data for all the light points. One print line is formed by a set of four sublines. In the case where the thinning of a line width is to be corrected, the print line is formed by sublines generated according to a fattening amount, whereby the line width is fattened. When the apparatus is used as a facsimile or a printer, a fattening amount for a facsimile or a fattening amount for printer is set.

    摘要: An original reading apparatus includes a thermistor that is arranged close to a reading position. When the output of the thermistor represents a warning temperature range, a CPU activates a cooling fan after waiting for completion of an automatic document feeding (ADF) copy operation being performed. When the output of the thermistor represents a proper temperature range due to the operation of the cooling fan, a state of enabling the ADF copy operation is restored. If the output of the thermistor exhibits an abnormal temperature range due to a cause of a failure in the cooling fan or the like, the CPU immediately stops all the operations.
