The graft-copolymer is combined with a pigment or dye to provide a self-dispersing solid colorant, which is suitable as a toner or toner supply for a liquid developing agent for electrostatic photography. The colorant is also applicable to a printing ink, an ink for an ink-jet system or a coating paint composition.
