    摘要: A system and methodology facilitates creation of perforations along a wellbore. The technique utilizes a perforating gun system having cooperating components, such as a carrier, a loading system, and a plurality of shaped charges. The cooperating components are constructed to break down into multiple smaller pieces upon detonation of the plurality of shaped charges. This allows the perforating gun system to effectively disappear within the wellbore such that any remaining small pieces do not interfere with well flow and/or later interventions.

The well tools are coupled to a plurality of multidrop modules with each multidrop module typically being coupled to one or two well tools. Control lines are connected the multidrop modules, and the multidrop modules have the capability of controlling a number of well tools greater than the number of control lines. Each well tool can be actuated individually by providing pressure inputs through one or more of the control lines.

    摘要: An apparatus string for use in a wellbore has a plurality of activation modules having first and second ends and containing devices to be activated/initiated downhole. An apparatus string also has a plurality of initiator modules where at least initiator is operatively connected to each activation module and is addressable. Each initiator module may have a safety initiator which when the initiator module is addressed initiates the firing of the shaped charges in the gun module to which it is operatively connected. A wireless transmitter is operatively connected in and integral to the apparatus string for use in transmitting signals to address any initiator module in the apparatus string.

    摘要: The present invention provides for dynamic sealing in a flow control device. In an embodiment, the flow control device comprises a closure sleeve adapted to slide over the tubing hole. The closure sleeve has a front edge having a wave-like surface. One or more seals are mounted downstream of the tubing hole. The one or more seals cooperate in a fluid-tight manner with the closure sleeve. A protective sleeve is mounted in alignment with the closure sleeve and proximate to the one or more seals. The protective sleeve has a top edge adapted for mating engagement with the wave-like surface of the front edge of the closure sleeve. A return mechanism is provided for automatically returning the protective sleeve to a covering position in which the protective sleeve covers the first seal when the first seal is not covered by the closure sleeve.
