    摘要: A power system is disclosed for receiving dual alternating current sources and delivering direct current to drive a load. The power system comprises four power supplies and two transfer switch modules, any of which may be removed and replaced without disabling the power system. Three of the power supplies deliver current to drive the load while the fourth is redundant. A transfer switch control circuit activates relays within the transfer switch modules, in response to a change in the voltage maintained by one or both AC sources. As long as one of the AC sources maintains a voltage within a predetermined voltage range, three of the power supplies deliver current to drive the load.

A switching frequency signal can be generated based on the inductor current, wherein the voltage regulator may be controlled based on the output voltage and the switching frequency signal. In one example, the switching frequency signal sets a first switching frequency if the inductor current is below a saturation current threshold, and sets a second switching frequency if the inductor current is above the saturation current threshold, wherein the second switching frequency is less than the first switching frequency.

The output stages prevent current from flowing through the switch(es) during time intervals in which the switch(es) transition from being open to being closed.

The control logic may determine the power supply units of the plurality of power supply units that are to be activated to provide power to match the power requirement. The control logic may identify the power supply units that may be activated to operate at a maximum efficiency value while providing power specified by the power consumption value.
