    摘要: An improved label sheet assembly and application kit including an optional liner sheet, a carrier strip, and a removably attached label facestock sheet. The application kit further includes a stacked group of tabbed sheets and an alignment guide. The label facestock sheet assembly includes a plurality of cut lines defining a perimeter of a plurality of facestock labels spaced from one another in an offset manner that substantially corresponds to a set of staggered tabs extending outwardly from a stacked group of divider sheets. The carrier strip is defined by a plurality of cuts having substantially the same shape as a portion of the perimeters of the facestock labels, but with slightly smaller dimensions as its respective label. The user may separate the carrier strip from the liner sheet, exposing an adhesive back of the precut labels and place and align the carrier strip across the divider sheets such that the precut labels are placed on the tabs of the divider sheets. The user then pulls the carrier strip upwardly and away from the divider sheets such that a portion of each of the perimeters of the precut labels flexes to separate from the carrier strip and remain on the staggered tabs.

    摘要: The present invention generally relates to a convenient and aesthetically pleasing way to label a wide variety of objects. The invention includes both an adhesive image transfer sheet assembly and a method for labeling a disc using standard computer equipment typically found in a home or office, such as an ink jet printer. One embodiment of the invention relates to an adhesive image transfer sheet assembly having a backing sheet that is coated with an ink-receptive coating. The coating is activatable to a tacky state by the application of light pressure or heat, and/or by wetting the coating with ink jet ink. The assembly may also be pre-cut to a particular shape, so as to correspond to the shape of a disc, for instance. An other embodiment of the invention relates to a method of labeling an object using the adhesive image transfer sheet assembly. After receiving printing, the ink-receptive coating is placed against the upper surface of the disc, and the user lighty rubs the backing sheet. The light rubbing activates the ink-receptive coating to a tacky state, causing the ink-receptive coating to adhere to the disc. The user can then pull away the backing layer, which may be release-coated for easily separating the backing from the ink-receptive coating. An additional water-resistant layer may be provided on the assembly, in between the ink-receptive coating and the backing sheet, to provide a protective layer over the image after the image has been transferred to the disc.

    摘要: A return address label having a send address label formed therein are provided in a printable sheet. The printable sheet includes a release liner, pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and face stock layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be applied to the release liner and the face stock layer may be applied to the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The adhesive layer and face stock layer have an outer die cut and an inner die cut. The release liner has a release liner die cut located between the inner and outer die cuts. The outer die cut and the release liner die cut form a return address label and the inner die cut forms a send address label. The send address label is within the outer die cut of the return address label and formed by the inner die cut. The release liner die cut and outer die cut enable the return address label to be removed from the printable sheet having a portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer exposed about a perimeter of the send address label such that the return address label may be adhered to a substrate. The inner die cut enables the send address label to be removed from the return address label and exposing an adhesive layer of the send address label. Name and address information may be printed on the send address label and used for the return address label. The send address label is part of the return address label, therefore, the information printed on the send address label and used as the return address and may be reused as a send address. Alternatively, the return address label may be first applied to an envelope or package to be used as a send address and the send address label may be removed from the return address label and used as the return address label. The information printed on the send address label may be printed using a conventional printer.
