摘要: An occlusion device having a support structure and an expandable occlusion element associated with the support structure. The expandable occlusion element is formed of a self-expanding material, such as a hydrogel. A retainer may be provided to hold the expandable occlusion element with respect to the support structure of the occlusion device, within or outside the support structure, and positioned such that expansion of the expandable occlusion element occludes a lumen through the support structure and the occlusion device. Expansion of the expandable occlusion element may be reversible, or the expandable occlusion element may be releasable from the support structure.

摘要: An illustrative endoluminal implant having an elongated tubular member. The elongate tubular member having a proximal stent, a distal stent and an interconnecting sleeve. The proximal stent tapers from a first outer diameter adjacent the proximal end region to a second smaller outer diameter adjacent the distal end region. The distal stent has an outer diameter less than the first outer diameter of the proximal stent. The interconnecting sleeve is collapsible in response to an applied radial force such that the sleeve is positionable across a natural valve or sphincter.

摘要: An endoprosthesis includes an elongated tubular member including a filament forming circumferential rows having a plurality of knitted loops and intermediate rungs extending between adjacent knitted loops. The tubular member includes at least one window and may include a plurality of anti-migration loops adjacent the at least one window and configured to shift between first and second positions when unconstrained. Making the endoprosthesis includes forming the plurality of knitted loops and intermediate rungs in a first row of loops and rungs, extending the filament to form a second row of loops and rungs interwoven with the first row, and forming the at least one window without cutting the filament. Placing the endoprosthesis includes positioning the endoprosthesis within a body lumen adjacent a branch lumen, expanding the tubular member to span the branch lumen, and shifting at least some anti-migration loops toward the second position and into the branch lumen.

In some embodiments, a stent may include a tubular scaffold having a first end opposite a second end, wherein a lumen extends between the first and second ends. The tubular scaffold may include a flared section and a medial section extending from the flared section, wherein a first diameter of the flared section is greater than a second diameter of the medial section. The stent may further include a liner extending partially along a surface of the tubular scaffold, wherein the liner is spaced from an anchoring region of the flared section to promote tissue ingrowth with the flared section.
