    摘要: An intelligent power management system that includes a circuit breaker containing a PLC module that spans open contacts of the circuit breaker to provide a communication path for PLC messages between communication paths on each of the line and load sides of the circuit when the contacts are open. The contacts are motorized to permit remote operation through PLC messaging. Coupled to the PLC module is a controller, which controls the opening and closing of the motorized contacts under user control or via an adaptive load management algorithm that reduces peak power consumption and adapts a set of loads to changed power supply conditions. The controller can also dynamically alter operational current and fault threshold levels on a real-time basis based upon circuit requirements or environmental conditions. The algorithm runs a state machine and also manages loads in a limited power source environment such as when loads are powered by a generator.

    摘要: The INTERIOR USER-COMFORT ENERGY EFFICIENCY MODELING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES (“IUCEEMC”) transforms comfort maps and occupant comfort inputs via a profile library manager component, exploration manager component, comfort map manager component, regulation monitor component, control temperature sequence generator component, and comfort map modification component, into comfort map and control temperature sequence outputs. In some implementations, the IUCEEMC can divide a timespace of a temperature model into a plurality of sections, select a section from the plurality of sections, perform a first persistent change of the section from the plurality of sections, and, via a control temperature sequence generator, calculate a control temperature sequence using the temperature model. The IUCEEMC can develop and execute a temperature trajectory on an HVAC system, such as a home or industrial HVAC system.

    摘要: A circuit breaker module includes an electrically controlled actuator, such as a DC motor, operable to move a breaker contact between open and closed positions. An actuator power supply circuit coupled to an AC power source is configured to selectively energize the actuator, responsive to an actuation input. A processing circuit is configured to control the actuator power supply circuit to activate the actuator in response to breaker command signals, using the actuation input. The processing circuit is further configured to delay activations of the actuator as needed to enforce a predetermined cooling interval between successive actuations.
