The flexible coupling may include three pivots, where two of these pivots may be orientated in the vertical direction and the other in the horizontal direction to aid the movement of the drive unit.

    摘要： The invention includes a method of shooting a scene in a motion picture. A track is provided as including two outer rails and a center rail. The center rail is located somewhere between the two outer rails. The center rail includes a top, a first side, and a second side. A self-propelled camera positioning device is also provided. The self-propelled camera positioning device includes a camera support unit having wheels and a camera. The self-propelled camera positioning device also includes a drive unit coupled to the camera support unit. The drive unit includes at least one drive roller, two guide rollers positioned adjacent to the at least one roller. The guide rollers are biased against the first side and the second side of the center rail. The wheels on the two outer rails are positioned on the two outer rails. The camera support unit is moved along the track to define information of the motion. This information is stored. A scene is shot by operating the camera while moving the camera support unit along the track as a function of the stored information of the motion.

    摘要： In one embodiment of the invention, the saw blade of the invention includes a plate supporting a plurality of teeth about the periphery thereof. Each tooth consists of a tooth support supporting a cutting tip. The tips are formed and arranged such that tips having a narrower profile are alternated with tips having a wider profile. In another embodiment of the invention teeth are provided where the distal ends of every other tip extend radially further from the center of the blade than the other tips. In another embodiment of the invention, a plurality of teeth consisting of a tooth support and tip are formed around the periphery of the plate such that teeth having a first hook angle alternate with teeth having a second hook angle. In a method of manufacturing the blade of the invention, identical tips are formed on all of the tooth supports and the ends of the tips are ground to the desired dimension after being formed on tooth supports.

    摘要： A continuously variable transmission (CVT) system for use on snowmobiles, ATV's and similar vehicles. The CVT includes a rotatable drive clutch connected to an input shaft (the input shaft being connectable to an engine), and a roller clutch carried on the input shaft. The CVT also includes a rotatable driven clutch connected to an output shaft, the driven clutch having a laterally stationary sheave and a laterally movable sheave that is normally biased toward the stationary sheave. An endless flexible drive belt is disposed about the drive and driven clutches. The clutches and drive belt are configured so that when the engine is idling the belt firmly engages a drive surface of the roller clutch that is connected to the drive clutch. The roller clutch permits the drive surface (and, therefore, the belt) to remain stationary when the input shaft is rotating, thereby preventing vehicle "creep" when idling, and, yet, the roller clutch also firmly engages the drive clutch's drive surface with the input shaft when the driven clutch attempts to drive the belt faster than the speed at which the drive clutch and input shaft are rotating, thereby permitting the driven clutch to backdrive the input shaft and engine to provide engine braking to the vehicle.
