摘要: There is disclosed an approach for the gold-coating of cores, such as magnetic nanoparticles. In some instances, the core and gold colloids can be fabricated first through irradiation, such as laser irradiation, and then mixed together for further laser irradiation. Alternatively, the cores may be fabricated using wet chemistry and subsequently coated using an irradiation method. Also disclosed is a two phase aqueous:oil system and its use in coating a material present in one phase with a second material present in the second phase.

摘要: The present disclosure provides methods for treating a subject having a HER2 non-amplified (HER2-negative) cancer or low HER2 expressing (HER2-low) cancer, comprising detecting expression of a BCAR4 gene fusion in a biological sample from the subject. If expression of the BCAR4 gene fusion is detected, a HER2-targeted cancer treatment is administered to the subject; if expression of the BCAR4 gene fusion is not detected, a cancer treatment that is not HER2-targeted is administered to the subject. Methods of predicting response to a HER2-targeted cancer treatment and detecting BCAR4 or BCAR4 gene fusion activation are also provided.

摘要: The present invention discloses an air energy boiler and belongs to the technical field of energy conversion. A crankshaft of the boiler is fixed at the output end of a rotating unit. The crankshaft is provided with at least one bulge. A driving piston of each conversion assembly is arranged in an air cavity in a reciprocating motion. The driving piston divides the air cavity into a first cavity and a second cavity. A wrist pin is arranged in the second cavity, and the wrist pin is fixed and connected with the driving piston. Both ends of a piston rod is rotatably connected with the wrist pin and the corresponding bulge respectively. The first cavity is provided with an air intake. Multiple heating pipes are in communication with the first cavity at one end and stretch into the boiler body at the other end. The boiler body is sealed and stores water, and the boiler body is provided with a steam outlet, wherein the steam outlet of the boiler body is connected to various terminals through the use of pipelines. Since air is used as the heat source, no conditional limitations exist for installation, and it is safe to use and saves energy and electricity.

摘要: The therapeutic eye mask includes a multi-layer composite main body having a heater plate and a plurality of vibrators mounted therein. The heater plate is located over the wear's eyes when the mask is worn. The vibrators are located in upper locations relative to the heater plate. The heater plate and the vibrators are operated by a pulse control circuit and a timer which are operative by an electrical controller connected to an electrical supply with a USB connector. A space cloth plate and a plurality of magnet disks are provided in the main body. The electrical controller has a first switch operative to connect the eye mask to the electrical supply and a second switch is operative to facilitate the user in choosing selective massage motions to provide effective therapeutic operation.

摘要: A chimeric phosphorylation indicator (CPI) as provided herein can contain a donor molecule, a phosphorylatable domain, a phosphoaminoacid binding domain (PAABD), and an acceptor molecule. Where the phosphorylatable domain is phosphorylatable by protein kinase C (PKC), the CPI is a c-kinase activity reporter (CKAR). Donor and acceptor molecules may be, independently, fluorescent proteins such as non-oligomerizing fluorescent proteins. A CPI can contain a phosphorylatable polypeptide and a fluorescent protein; the phosphorylatable polypeptide may be contained within the sequence of the fluorescent protein, or the fluorescent protein may be contained within the sequence of the phosphorylatable polypeptide. The spatiotemporal properties of the PKC signal pathway may be tested with CKAR, calcium-sensing fluorophores and FRET-based translocation assays. Polynucleotides encoding such CPIs, and kits containing the indicators and/or the polynucleotides, are provided. A method of using the chimeric phosphorylation indicators to detect a kinase or phosphatase in a sample is provided.
