摘要: Valved couplers and gas processing components particularly suitable for ultra-high purity gas distribution for use in semiconductor manufacturing. In the couplers, a valve stem/bullnose seals the aperture of the coupler immediately adjacent the exterior of the coupler, so that only a minimal amount of the wetted surface of the coupler is exposed to the external environment. A gas processing component (e.g., a filter), or an entire integrated gas stick assembly, may be sealed from the exterior environment at both its inlet and outlet sides, by these valved couplers. As a result, the entire device can be purged after manufacture and left in a controlled environment during shipment and installation, reducing the need for purging after installation.

摘要: A catheter check valve assembly has a body member with a wall defining a generally cylindrical chamber and a transverse wall having an aperture lying on the axis of such chamber. A duckbill valve and an end cap supporting a catheter are positioned on one side of the transverse wall. A separator has a major portion positioned in said cylindrical chamber and an elongated cylindrical probe extending from said major portion. The separator is axially moveable from a retracted position where the probe is out of contact with the duckbill valve to a forward position extending through and opening the duckbill valve. A trocar may be extended through the catheter check valve assembly when the separator is in the forward position.

The coupling including a valve having a manual actuating handle which includes locking sleeve interference structure preventing the locking sleeve from being displaced to the adapter release position while the valve is in the open condition. Additionally, electric switch structure mounted upon the coupling body permits gloved actuation to control a fluid pump.

摘要: A fueling nozzle for pressurized fuel systems having a body connectable to a tank inlet. The body includes an axially displaceable valve movable between a closed retracted position and an extended open position. Connection of the body to the tank inlet occurs upon rotation of the connection sleeve and positioning of the valve is achieved by a rotatable cam sleeve having a cam slot in which a valve-mounted follower is located. An interlock senses mounting of the body on the tank inlet permitting rotation of the connection sleeve in a locking direction and upon the connection sleeve being fully rotated to a locked condition a second interlock permits rotation of the cam sleeve and valve movement from the closed to the open position. The nozzle is characterized by reduced flow resistance characteristics and safe operation.

Quick-connect fittings are attached to the misaligned pipe ends after trimming and a bridging conduit system is interposed between the fittings having adjustable portions for accommodating the misalignment. Rotative angular sections provide universal adjustment while retaining the fluid-tight integrity of the apparatus.

摘要: A coupling for handling liquids, gases, or a combination thereof characterized by its ability to convey high volumes with low flow resistance through valve elements. The coupling includes a pair of clam shell type valve elements pivotal between closed and open positions by the nose of the male coupling half during coupling of the halves and recesses defined in the valve elements receive the coupling nose so that the engagement between valve elements and coupling nose does not produce a flow restriction. The valve elements are provided with bonded resilient sealing edges and include a homogeneous bumper for absorbing shocks during coupling. A double action latch system is also disclosed having a sequence of operation which significantly reduces the likelihood of inadvertently uncoupling the coupling halves.
