摘要: A wall-flow-type exhaust gas purification catalyst with an oxygen storage material that has an increased OSC and exhibits its OSC without a compromise provides an exhaust gas purification catalyst having a wall-flow-type substrate, a first catalytic layer and a second catalytic layer. The first catalytic layer is provided to an internal portion of a partition wall in contact with an entrance cell. The second catalytic layer is provided to an internal portion of a partition wall in contact with an exit cell. Each of the first and second catalytic layers has an oxygen storage material. The ratio (D1/D2) of the coating density D1 of the first catalytic layer to the coating density D2 of the second catalytic layer is 1.1 to 1.8.

摘要: Provided is an exhaust gas purification catalyst that combines reduction of pressure loss and enhancement of purification performance. This invention provides an exhaust gas purification catalyst comprising a wall-flow-type substrate and first and second catalytic layers. The first catalytic layer is provided to the interior of a partition wall, in contact with an entrance cell, from an exhaust inlet-side end in the running direction, having a length L1 less than Lw. The second catalytic layer is provided to the interior of a partition wall, in contact with an exit cell, from an exhaust outlet-side end in the running direction, having a length L2 less than Lw. An internal portion of partition wall in contact with entrance cell has a substrate-exposing segment near the exhaust outlet-side end.

Exhaust gas purification catalyst includes a substrate having a wall-flow structure with partition wall, upstream coating section formed in portions of partition wall facing entrance cell, from exhaust inlet-side end in the extending direction of partition wall, and downstream coating section formed in portions of partition wall facing exit cell, from exhaust outlet-side end in the extending direction, having a length shorter than the entire length Lw of the partition wall. In downstream coating section, a catalytic metal is concentrated in the surface layer in contact with exit cell.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst that can achieve high purification performance while suppressing H2S emissions. The object is solved by an exhaust gas purifying catalyst in which the top layer of a catalyst coating layer comprises a ceria-zirconia composite oxide having a pyrochlore-type ordered array structure, in which the ceria-zirconia composite oxide contains at least one additional element selected from the group consisting of praseodymium, lanthanum, and yttrium at 0.5 to 5.0 mol % in relation to the total cation amount, and the molar ratio of (cerium+additional element):(zirconium) is within the range from 43:57 to 48:52.
