Abstract: A catalytic converter and muffler including a housing having an inlet disposed between a first end and a second end of the housing to introduce exhaust gases into an inlet chamber. A plurality of first exhaust treatment banks disposed between the inlet and the first end of the housing to allow the exhaust gases flow towards the first end from the inlet chamber into an end chamber. A mixing tube to direct the exhaust gases towards the second end from the end chamber into a flow distributor and a plurality of second exhaust aftertreatment banks and flow into an outlet chamber. At least one resonator chamber defined within the housing to attenuate noise in the exhaust gases.

Abstract: An aftertreatment system of an engine is disclosed. The aftertreatment system includes a housing. The aftertreatment system also includes a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst provided within the housing. The aftertreatment system further includes an exhaust duct associated with the SCR catalyst. The aftertreatment system includes a sampling flute provided within the exhaust duct. The aftertreatment system also includes a NOx sensor at least partly enclosed by a first end of the sampling flute. The aftertreatment system further includes a spring member. The spring member is joined to the sampling flute and the exhaust duct.

Abstract: A powertrain for a machine includes an internal combustion engine, an aftertreatment system including a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst for treating exhaust gases from the internal combustion engine, and a continuously variable transmission operatively coupled to the internal combustion engine. An electronic controller can measure a catalyst temperature of the SCR catalyst and can inversely adjust an engine speed and a CVT output to selectively regulate a catalyst temperature of the SCR catalyst. In an embodiment, the CVT may be a hydro-mechanical transmission including a hydrostatic transmission and a mechanical transmission.

Abstract: An exhaust aftertreatment module is provided. The exhaust aftertreatment module includes a housing having a first end and a second end.
