Abstract: A method for producing high purity D-psicose crystals having a purity of 98% (w/w) or more and a grain size of MA200 or more. The method includes: removing impurities from a D-psicose solution to obtain a purified D-psicose solution; concentrating the purified D-psicose solution; cooling the concentrated D-psicose solution to 30° C. to 40° C. through a heat exchanger; seed crystallizing the D-psicose solution at 30° C. to 40° C. to obtain a seed crystallized massecuite; and full-scale crystallizing the seed crystallized massecuite. The method can produce pure D-psicose crystals in a suitable form for industrial application through an economical crystallization process from the D-psicose solution without using organic solvents.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing D-psicose. The method of producing D-psicose includes subjecting D-fructose to D-psicose epimerization to produce a D-psicose-containing solution, subjecting the D-psicose-containing solution to first cooling and ion purification, subjecting the purified D-psicose-containing solution to first concentration and second cooling, subjecting the D-psicose-containing solution, which has been subjected to first concentration and second cooling, to chromatography to obtain a D-fructose-containing mother liquor and a D-psicose-containing separated solution, and subjecting the D-psicose-containing separated solution to second concentration and third cooling to obtain D-psicose crystals, wherein the D-fructose-containing mother liquor produced by chromatography is reused in the D-psicose epimerization.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a series of preparation methods including extraction, separation, purification, and commercialization of ferulic acid, which is a highly functional material from corn brans (a by-product of grain), and more specifically, to a preparation method wherein ferulic acid is extracted from corn brans (a by-product of grain) in high yield by a novel method, and the extracted ferulic acid is separated and purified in high yield and high purity by an economical method, followed by commercialization.The preparation method of ferulic acid of the present disclosure can economically produce ferulic acid, a high value-added material, using corn brans as a raw material, and more specifically, the preparation method of the present disclosure can produce high-purity ferulic acid in high yield, and can thus be effectively used for large-scale production of ferulic acid.
