    摘要: The present invention provides a method for synthesizing cationic bleach activators via a single-bath reaction, comprising steps of: separately dissolving 4-chloromethylbenoyl chloride and lactam in its respective solvent, adding an acid-binding agent to the lactam solution, next adding dropwisely 4-chloromethylbenoyl chloride solution into the lactam/acid binding-agent solution, and finally adding tertiary amine to the solution above to make a reaction solution, which is further treated with mixing and refluxing. The washed and dried final product is TBLC cationic bleach activator. The method of the present invention greatly simplifies the synthesizing process and lowers the stringency of reaction conditions for preparing cationic bleach activators (TBLC). At the same time, the present method produces TBLC cationic bleach activators with high yields, making it a suitable option for industrial production of these bleach activators.

    摘要: A method for reducing energy consumption of a passive optical network includes optical network units of the network which infer their downstream queue status rather than being explicitly notified by an optical line terminal of the network. Based on the inferred queue status, the optical network units make their own sleep mode decisions without assistance from optical line terminal. Both downstream traffic inference and sleep decision making at the optical network units are based on common information possessed by optical line terminal and optical network units. Accordingly, the optical line terminal can accurately infer the status of each optical network unit if the sleep control scheme implemented at an optical network unit is known by the optical line terminal.

    摘要: A system and method for detecting a defect in an actuator arm conductor coil is disclosed. An actuator arm including a conductor coil is received. The conductor coil is coupled with a voltage as an anode. The conductor coil is submerged into a first solution, the first solution having no organic matter therein. The first solution is then coupled with a second solution including an organic indicator. The second solution also includes a cathode coupled to the voltage such that a defect in an insulation layer of the conductor coil is indicated by the organic indicator.
