摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a channel state information (CSI) report configuration for a multiple transmission reception point (TRP) transmission, such as a non-coherent joint transmission (NCJT). A method by a base station (BS) includes providing a user equipment (UE) with a CSI report configuration. The CSI report configuration is associated with one or more CSI reference signal (RS) resources. Each CSI-RS resource comprising a set of ports or port groups. The BS signals the UE to enable the UE to send a CSI report including CSI for more than one CSI-RS resource or for a CSI-RS resource comprising more than one port group and receives a CSI report from the UE.

The UE receives a list of codebooks associated with the configuration. The UE determines at least one codebook, from the list of codebooks, to apply for one or more triggered CSI-RS resources.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive modulo base selection for non-linear precoding. Aspects provide a method for wireless communications that can be performed by a base station (BS). The BS adaptively selects a modulo base for a data stream for at least one user equipment (UE) in a transmission to one or more UEs. The BS selects the modulo base based on one or more parameters. The BS transmits a signal for at least one UE of the one or more UEs to identify the selected modulo base. The BS performs the transmission to the one or more UEs. The UE receives the transmission from the BS and the signal for the identification of the selected modulo base. Based on the signal, the UE determines the modulo base for at least one data stream in the transmission and decodes the data stream using the modulo base.

In some cases, a UE may signal, to a network entity, capability information of the UE for non-codebook uplink transmissions. The UE may then receive, signaling, from the network entity, indicating a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) configurations based at least on the signaled capability information, wherein at least one configuration indicates at least one SRS resource and determine a plurality of precoding candidates, wherein each precoding candidate is associated with a configured SRS resource. The UE may then transmit the SRSs using the associated precoding candidates.

摘要: Enhanced channel state information (CSI) procedures for full dimension-multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) is discussed in which a number of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) ports configured for a user equipment (UE) is determined. In response to the CSI-RS ports including both horizontal and vertical ports, the UE may determine a first precoding matrix from a plurality of precoding matrices constructed by a Kronecker product of a horizontal precoding matrix and a vertical precoding matrix. The UE selects a predetermined number of precoding vectors out of the first precoding matrix and generates a wideband precoding matrix, based on the selected predetermined number of precoding vectors. The UE reports one or more CSI reports, wherein the CSI reports includes at least one precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for the first precoding matrix and at least an indication of the selection of the predetermined number of precoding vectors.

摘要: Enhanced channel state information (CSI) feedback is disclosed for full dimensional multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) operations. In one aspect, a CSI process is defined that may be used to identify an azimuth and elevation CSI-reference signal (RS) ports. A user equipment (UE) will send a precoding matrix indictor (PMI) report including a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for the azimuth ports and a PMI for the elevation ports. One of the PMIs is assigned a low rank. The base station will use the two PMIs to create a whole channel precoding matrix. In another aspect, a single CSI process is configured having a plurality of CSI-RS resources. The UE generates channel measurement information for each of the CSI-RS resources, but only sets a CSI report to the base station of a subset of the total number of resources.

The uplink scheduling is based on uplink transmission (UL Tx) switching time and/or uplink data preparation time of the UE. The uplink data preparation time is calculated based on the UL Tx switching time. For example, a UE can report to a BS at least one of an indication of a UL Tx switching time and an uplink data preparation time of the UE. In return, the UE can receive an indication of uplink scheduling from the BS, which the UE can use to communicate with the BS.

In some cases, switching may be limited by a consecutive uplink switching rule or UE capability. In some cases, the gap between two consecutive uplink carrier switching operations may be limited to a resource (e.g., slot, symbol), such that the UE may expect to perform at most one switching operation per resource. In some implementations, the gap between two consecutive uplink carrier switching operations may be limited to a duration (e. g., 14 symbols, 4 symbols), such that the UE may expect to perform at most one switching operation per a duration less than or equal to a threshold.
