    摘要： The present invention provides an original conveying apparatus in which originals stacked on an original tray are separated one by one by a separation unit to be conveyed to a reading portion for reading an image, and then the read original is discharged. An original travel direction reverse path is disposed between the separation unit and the reading portion, a face turn-over path is provided for turning over the original discharged from the reading portion and for directing it to the reading portion again, and there is a control unit for continuously effecting, for the respective original, a first image reading mode in which the travel direction of the original is reversed in the original travel direction reverse path without turning over the front and rear faces of the original before the original is conveyed to the reading portion and then the image is read, and a second image reading mode in which the original is turned over in the original travel direction reverse path after the first image of the original was read at the reading portion.

The control unit performs the control to set the interval between the two originals to be the first distance after setting it to be a second distance shorter than the first distance, by using the carrying roller. Further, the control unit accelerates the carrying belt up to a second speed, decelerates the second speed to the first speed to set the second distance to be the first distance.

    摘要： An image formation apparatus provides a method of improving productivity in case of forming images onto both of the faces of a sheet. According to the method, an original is read by the apparatus in the order of its back face and front face sequentially. The read images are formed onto the sheet in the order of front-faced image and back-faced image of the original. Images of three originals D1, D2 and D3 which are read by an image sensor in the order of second, first, fourth, third, sixth and fifth pages are subjected to editing processing by an image processing unit. If the image data of the first page is stored into a hard disk, the image data of the first page (front-faced image of original D1) is formed onto the first face of a fed sheet P1. Subsequently, if the image data of the third page is stored, the image data of the third page (front-faced image of original D2) is formed onto the first face of a fed sheet P2. Similarly, after the front-faced image of the original D3 is formed, the back-faced image of the original D1 is formed onto the second face of the sheet P1.

    摘要： The proposed apparatus is designed for being capable of recovering even when the overlapped transport of insert sheets has occurred without stopping the apparatus, thereby providing an improved utility to the users. The apparatus includes a first sheet feeder for sequentially separating blank sheets into individual sheet, an image forming device for forming images on the blank sheets, a transport device for waiting the blank sheet to be supplied to the image forming apparatus at predetermined time, a second sheet feeder for sequentially separating the insert sheets into individual sheet, an overlapped transport detecting device for determining whether or not the insert sheets have been transported in overlapped condition, and a controller for discharging all the insert sheets of a set involved in the overlapped transport onto a predetermined place, finding the first insert sheet of a next set of insert sheets, and discontinuing the drive of the transport device.
