摘要: The invention relates to the use of nanoscalar water-soluble β-(1,3) glucans, which are essentially free from β-(1,6) links and have particle diameters ranging from 10 to 300 nm for producing cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparations. When applied topically, the especially fine dispersion of the particles, compared to prior art glucans, facilitates their rapid penetration of both the stratum corneum of the skin and the keratin fibres of the hair.

摘要: Scents having a fresh odor are usually very volatile, and therefore have a low yield in typical applications such as washing or cleaning processes. They must therefore be used in relatively large quantities so that commensurate effects can be achieved. The invention describes specific ketones as photolabile scent storage substances which enable greatly improved persistence of the scent impression, in particular with a fresh odor, in typical applications. Corresponding washing or cleaning agents and air freshening agents, and a method for scenting surfaces, are also described.

摘要: An adhesive composition and the use thereof to produce barrier-effect composite films. The adhesive composition contains polymer binders and fillers having a platelet-like crystallite structure with an aspect ratio of >100. The composite films produced with this adhesive exhibit barrier characteristics against the migration of oxygen, flavors and water vapor. These films are useful for packaging foods and medicaments.
