    摘要： An apparatus for support and display of a sports memorabilia jersey features a body form having an upper body portion with an outline visually resembling a head, neck and shoulders of a human body, and a transparent facial area comprising a facial likeness or team logo of a particular athlete associated with said sports memorabilia jersey. A method of producing such apparatus includes obtaining a facial image of an athlete associated with said memorabilia jersey, obtaining an outline shape of said facial image at a generally life-size scale, producing the body form with the head, neck and shoulder areas, and applying the facial image onto the head area of the body form such that a perimeter shape of the head area of the body form generally conforms to the outline shape of the facial image.

    摘要： A computerized software system helps badminton players improve their footwork and conditioning. The system reads information from stored training modules in a portable computing device. In one mode, the system displays an indicator arrow to one of six corners on a badminton court image. A player moves on a real badminton court or other suitable surface in the direction indicated by the arrow displayed on the badminton court image. The arrow represents a fake and is displayed randomly or in sequence to all six corners. The speed the arrow flashes from corner to corner is adjustable. In another mode, the system randomly displays an indicator symbol on an opposing badminton court image to indicate an area of the court a player is to return a fed bird. A user may select a training module having either timed training sets or count training sets.

    摘要： Architecture that computes a dominant image from one or more images on a webpage. A dominant image classifier scans webpages in an offline-created index to identify the prominent images in the webpages. In a more specific implementation the image selected is the image associated with a name query. Face detection technology can be utilized to identify which of the images on a given webpage contain faces. A query classifier identifies queries that contain people names. In the context of search engines and search result pages, the web results for name queries can further include prominent people face images as thumbnail images. Additional facts (structured data) can further be included that together with the results elements of caption title, snippet and attribute (uniform resource locator (URL)) provide an improved summary of the person on the page.
