摘要: A molding machine for producing a continuous extrusion molding product with varying profile includes a die with an inlet for receiving molten material, a channel, an outlet, and shaping knives rotatable around axes non-parallel to the flow direction of the molten material between first and second operational positions. Shaping knives have molding surfaces and together define a first contour in the outlet when the shaping knives are in their first operational positions, and define a second contour in the outlet when the shaping knives are in their second operational positions. Shaping knives can be rotated around axes perpendicular or oblique to the flow direction of molten material.

摘要: A method for making a series of nanoscale microstructures, including helical microstructures and cylindrical microstrustures. This method includes the steps of: (1) forming a chiral block copolymer containing a plurality of chiral first polymer blocks and a second polymer blocks wherein the chiral first polymer blocks have a volume fraction ranging from 20 to 49%; (2) causing a phase separation in the chiral block copolymer. In a preferred embodiment, the chiral block copolymer is poly(styrene)-poly(L-lactide) (PS-PLLA) chiral block copolymer, and the copolymerization process is a living copolymerization process which includes the following steps: (a) mixing styrene with BPO and 4-OH-TEMPO to form 4-hydroxy-TEMPO-terminated polystyrene; and (2) mixing the 4-hydroxy-TEMPO-terminated polystyrene with [η3-EDBP)Li2]2[(η3-nBu)Li(0.5Et2O)]2 and L-lactide in an organic solvent preferably CH2Cl2 to form the poly(styrene)-poly(L-lactide) chiral block copolymer. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and small X-ray scattering (SAXS) studies show that when the volume fraction of poly(L-lactide) is about 35–37%, nanoscale helices with a pitch of 43.8 nanometers and a diameter of 34.4 nanometers were observed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a light guide plate and back light module having the same. The light guide plate includes a light guide plate body and a plurality of microreliefs. The light guide plate body has a light-emitting surface and a reflecting surface. The microreliefs are disposed on the reflecting surface. Each of the microreliefs has an outer surface and a base area. The outer surface is a curved surface, and the base area contacts the reflecting surface. A ratio of the totally height of each of the microreliefs to the diameter of the base area of each of the microreliefs is between 1/7 and ¼. As a result, the light guide plate has higher light extraction efficiency.

摘要: The present invention relates to a backlight module, light guide plate thereof and ink thereof. The ink includes a base resin and an additive. The additive is dispersed in the base resin for increasing the printability of the ink. The additive comprises a polymer having hydroxy functional group, ester functional group, ether functional group or combination thereof. Use of the ink of the present invention will reduce the color difference and the variation of color temperature of the light guide plate. In addition, the ink has higher flowability, which increases the printability of the ink.
