    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application disclose a secondary battery including an electrode assembly, a packaging bag and an electrode lead. The packaging bag includes a first packaging film and a second packaging film, the electrode assembly is disposed between the first packaging film and the second packaging film. The first packaging film and the second packaging film each include a main body portion, two extending portions and two connecting portions, the main body portion is located on one side of the electrode assembly in a thickness direction, the two connecting portions are respectively located on two sides of the electrode assembly in a transverse direction, the two extending portions respectively extend from two ends of the main body portion in the transverse direction and are respectively connected to the two connecting portions. Each extending portion includes a first arc region, an inclined region and a second arc region.

    Abstract: This application provides a lithium-ion battery, a positive electrode plate for a lithium-ion battery, and an apparatus. The lithium-ion battery includes a positive electrode plate that includes a positive current collector and a positive active material layer arranged on at least one surface of the positive current collector. A positive active material in the positive active material layer includes a positive active substance I and a positive active substance II. The positive active substance I is a layered lithium nickel transition metal oxide. The positive active substance II is an olivine-type li-containing phosphate. The positive electrode plate satisfies 2.5≤N/(PD×(1−P1)×(1−A))≤21. The positive electrode plate for a lithium-ion battery has relatively high energy density, and a high transmission rate of lithium ions, which effectively increases instantaneous discharge power under a low SOC while ensuring high volume energy density of lithium-ion batteries using the positive electrode plate.

    Abstract: This application provides a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. The battery cell includes: an electrode assembly; a housing, where the housing has a first opening for accommodating the electrode assembly; an end cover configured to cover the first opening, where the end cover has a protruding structure, the protruding structure protrudes along a first direction away from the interior of the battery cell, and the first direction is a thickness direction of the end cover; and an electrode terminal, where the electrode terminal has a protruding portion protruding from the protruding structure along a second direction, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. The battery cells are interconnected in the second direction through the protruding portions of the electrode terminals, which can enhance the strength of the connection between the battery cells.

    Abstract: Provided are an electrode plate and a secondary battery having the same. The electrode plate comprises a current collector and an active material layer, wherein the current collector comprises a main body portion and tabs, the active material layer is coated on the surface of the main body portion, and the tabs extend from one end of the main body portion along the first direction; a first insulating portion is formed on the end face of the main body portion that is provided with the tabs, and a second insulating portion different from the first insulating portion is formed on the end faces of the main body portion that are not provided with the tabs. The electrode plate of the present application has a good end-face insulation protection and can improve the safety performance of the secondary battery.

    Abstract: This utility model relates to an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. An electrode assembly includes an anode electrode plate and a cathode electrode plate. At least one side of the anode current collector is coated with an anode active substance layer. At least one side of the cathode current collector is coated with a cathode active substance layer and an additional layer. In a plane perpendicular to the stacking direction of the anode electrode plate and the cathode electrode plate, a projection of the anode active substance layer covers a projection of the cathode active substance layer and partially covers a projection of the additional layer. A battery includes the battery cells. An electric device includes the battery cells or the foregoing battery. The electrode assembly, battery cell, battery, and electric device can mitigate or reduce electrode plate cracking.
