Abstract: A computing system is structured to receive operating data provided by a telematics circuit associated with a remote engine. The operating data comprises information provided by at least one sensor and/or at least one actuation command. The computing system is structured to determine, based on the operating data, a plurality of field-replaceable units (FRUs) associated with the operating data. The computing system is structured to generate a computer-based simulation corresponding to at least one degradation level for an FRU from the plurality of FRUs, identify a most probable failure, and rank the computer-based simulations across the plurality of FRUs. The computing system is structured to generate an electronic notification comprising data associated with the most probable failure and transmit the electronic notification to a computing device.

Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus relating to operating an internal combustion engine include steps or features for determining a performance threshold of a particulate filter disposed in an exhaust gas flow of the engine having a set time interval between regeneration events of the particulate filter; determining a rate at which the particulate filter is reaching the performance threshold; and controlling an exhaust gas characteristic to control the rate so that the performance threshold is reached at or just before an end of the time interval. In an embodiment, there are steps or features for interpreting a filter condition of the particulate filter; determining a particulate matter load rate of the filter as a function of the condition; determining a limit of an exhaust gas characteristic based on the load rate; and controlling engine operation to control the exhaust gas characteristic to satisfy the limit.

Abstract: A system can include one or more processors coupled with memory in communication with a vehicle system comprising a plurality of field-replaceable units (FRUs). The one or more processors can be configured to: generate, for each FRU of the plurality of FRUs of the vehicle system, a computer-based simulation; determine a degradation level for each FRU of the plurality of FRUs based on the computer-based simulation and operating data of each FRU of the plurality of FRUs; identify, from the plurality of FRUs, an FRU corresponding to a failure in the vehicle system based on the degradation level for the FRU; and provide an electronic notification identifying the failure in the vehicle system as corresponding to the FRU.

Abstract: Systems and methods for autonomous vehicle control are provided. A remote computing system includes a communication interface coupled to a network, a map database storing centralized map data, a processor, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include: receiving a transport request including a first location and a second location; selecting a first vehicle of a plurality of vehicles for the transport request based on at least one of the transport request and a vehicle status; transmitting the centralized map data to the first vehicle; causing the first vehicle to complete the transport request, including causing the first vehicle to autonomously transport from the first location to the second location and causing the first vehicle to collect first sensor data; receiving the first sensor data in real-time; and, updating the centralized map data with the first sensor data.
