摘要： Provided is an aqueous emulsion composition which has excellent chemical stability (stability with respect to impurities) and excellent mechanical stability. Disclosed is an aqueous emulsion composition which contains: (A) a polymer that contains a fluoroalkyl group; and (B) a surfactant that contains (B1) an amidoamine surfactant having an amide group and an amino group, and (B2) a nonionic surfactant. It is preferable that the surfactant does not contain a monool having an unsaturated triple bond or an alkylene oxide addition product of a polyol.

摘要： Provided is a water and oil repellent composition that provides water and oil repellency that is excellent for base materials such as textile products, and is excellent for preventing adhesion of polymers on rolls during processing. The present invention involves a method for manufacturing a fluorine-containing polymer comprising a first polymer formed from a first monomer, and a second polymer formed from a second monomer. The manufacturing method includes: (I) a step for obtaining the first polymer by polymerizing the first monomer; and (II) a step for obtaining the second polymer by preparing and polymerizing the second monomer in the presence of the first polymer. The first monomer and/or the second monomer includes a fluorine-containing monomer (a), and both the first monomer and the second monomer include a halogenated olefin (b).

摘要： A water- and oil-repellent agent that is an aqueous dispersion containing (A) a fluorine-free polymer having repeating units derived from a fluorine-free (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer, (B) a wax, (C) an aqueous medium, and (D) an emulsifier. The fluorine-free (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer is a compound represented by the formula CH2═CA11-C(═O)—O-A12 where A11 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and A12 is a linear or branched C18-30 hydrocarbon group. The emulsifier includes a sorbitan ester and another emulsifier, and the emulsifier has a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of 7.5 to 13.5. Also disclosed is a method of producing the water- and oil-repellent agent and a method of producing a treated substrate by applying the water- and oil-repellent agent to a substrate.

摘要： A fluorine-containing polymer including: (a) a repeat unit in which the α-position is an acrylate ester monomer substituted with a monovalent organic group or a halogen atom and which is derived from a fluorine-containing monomer having a fluoroalkyl group; (b) a repeat unit which is an alkyl acrylate having a C6-13 alkyl group and is derived from a non-fluorine monomer; and (c) a repeat unit derived from a non-fluorine (meth)acrylate monomer having a cyclic hydrocarbon group. Also disclosed is a surface treatment agent containing the fluorine-containing polymer, a method of treating a substrate with the surface treatment agent and a treated substrate.
