Abstract: A main power supply having a large capacity and a backup power supply having a small capacity are switchable by a power supply switching determination unit in a system. A motor control device drives a motor by the main power supply or the backup power supply. A drive control unit outputs a drive signal, calculated by feedback control of the current detection value with respect to the current command value, to an inverter circuit. When the power supply switching determination unit switches from the main power supply to the backup power supply, the drive control unit moves from a normal control using the main power supply to a backup control that restricts an electric power consumption and prevents the backup power supply from stopping.

Abstract: In an apparatus, a motor current limit calculator calculates a motor current limit to which a motor current is to be limited. A motor current command calculator calculates a motor current command representing a target value for the motor current. A current command corrector corrects the motor current command as a function of the motor current limit. A motor voltage command calculator calculates a motor voltage command as a function of the corrected motor current command and the motor current, and feed back the motor voltage command to the motor current limit calculator. The motor voltage command represents a target value for a voltage of the output power applied to the motor. The motor current limit calculator calculates the motor current limit in accordance with the motor current, the converter current limit, and the motor voltage command fed back from the motor voltage command calculator.

The base assist controller individually or commonly calculates a base assist torque based on the torsion torque. The stabilization controller individually or commonly calculates a stabilization torque for stabilizing a steering system. The adder performs addition of the base assist torque and the stabilization torque.

Abstract: A rotation electric machine controller that is applied to a system including a rotation electric machine and a power converter is provided. The rotation electric machine controller includes: a d-axis command value set portion that sets a negative d-axis current command value; and an operation portion that operates the power converter to control a d-axis current to the d-axis current command value. The d-axis command value set portion increases an absolute value of the d-axis current command value in response to that the q-axis parameter is larger than the target value. The d-axis command value set portion decreases the absolute value of the d-axis current command value in response to that the q-axis parameter is less than the target value.

Abstract: A controller of a multiphase rotating electric machine has two inverters outputting an alternating current to two sets of windings, and a control section driving a motor by switching between a “two-system driving mode” supplying power from the two inverters to the two sets of winding and a “one-system driving mode” supplying power from one of the two inverters to the corresponding set of windings, The control section in the one-system driving mode changes at least one of a maximum amplitude and a current phase of the alternating current used in the two-system driving mode to compensate for a reluctance torque generated by a mutual inductance of the two sets of winding in the two-system driving mode.

Abstract: A motor control device includes a plurality of systems capable of controlling current supply to a motor. Each microcomputer of first and second systems is configured to communicate information of the own system and the other system by inter-computer communication and has an independent ground potential. A power supply current flowing between a power supply and a power converter is assumed to be positive and negative in a power running state and a regeneration state. Each microcomputer monitors the power supply current of each system by the inter-computer communication, and executes a power supply current balancing process of limiting a current command value or a voltage command value of at least one of the two systems thereby to decrease a power supply current difference between the two systems when the power supply current difference between the two systems exceeds a target value.

Abstract: A microcomputer includes an abnormality monitor unit, a rotation angle calculation unit and a current supply control unit. The abnormality monitor unit monitors an abnormality of the rotation angle sensor. The rotation angle calculation unit calculates an electrical angle based on angle information acquired from the rotation angle sensor and an abnormality state of the rotation angle sensor. The current supply control unit controls current supply to the winding sets based on the electrical angle. When an abnormality is detected in one of the sensor units, the rotation angle calculation unit calculates the electrical angle based on a hold value which is the electrical angle before the detection of abnormality during a period from the detection of abnormality to a final determination of the abnormality. When the abnormality of the sensor unit is finalized, the electrical angle is calculated based on the angle information of the other sensor unit which is normal.

Abstract: In an apparatus, an execution determiner determines, for each of sequential first and second motor control cycles, whether to execute a voltage correction task for a voltage command, and obtains, for each of the first and second motor control cycles, a voltage correction as a function of a fundamental voltage correction and the determination result. A voltage corrector corrects, for each of the first and second motor control cycles, the voltage command based on the voltage correction. A correction voltage feedback unit feeds back a value of the voltage correction calculated at the first motor control cycle to a voltage command calculator. The voltage command calculator calculates a value of the voltage command for the second motor control cycle based on the value of the voltage correction fed back from the correction voltage feedback unit in addition to a value of the motor current parameter and a predetermined current command.
