    Abstract: A motor includes a stator having a winding, and a rotor. The rotor rotates by receiving a rotational magnetic field generated by drive current supplied to the winding. The winding includes a first winding and a second winding, the first and second windings both being excited at the same timing by the drive current. The first winding and the second winding are connected in series. The rotor includes a first pole section and a second pole section. The second pole section faces the second winding at the rotation position of the rotor at which the first pole section faces the first winding. The magnetic force exerted on the stator by the second pole section is weaker than that exerted by the first pole section.

    Abstract: A motor includes a stator including windings and a rotor. The windings include a first winding and a second winding connected in series. The rotor includes a plurality of rotor parts arranged in an axial direction. Each of the rotor parts includes a first magnet pole unit including a permanent magnet and a second magnet pole unit opposing the second winding at a rotational position of the rotor where the first magnet unit opposes the first winding. The second magnet pole unit applies a weaker magnetic force to the stator than the first magnet pole unit. The rotor parts each include an equal number of magnet poles. The first magnet pole units of the rotor parts are located at positions deviated from one another in a circumferential direction. The second magnet pole units of the rotor parts are located at positions deviated from one another in the circumferential direction.

    Abstract: A motor includes a stator having windings and a rotor. The rotor includes a rotor core and a first magnet magnetic pole, a second magnet magnetic pole, and a protrusion provided next to each other in the circumferential direction. The second magnet magnetic pole has an opposite polarity to the first magnet magnetic pole. The protrusion projects in the radial direction in the rotor core. The windings include a first winding and a second winding. The first winding and the second winding are excited at the same timing, and are serially connected. The protrusion faces the second winding at the rotor rotation position at which the first magnet magnetic pole or the second magnet magnetic pole faces the first winding.

    Abstract: A motor includes a rotation shaft, a rotor, and a stator. The rotor includes a rotor core and magnetic pole portions respectively including permanent magnets embedded in the rotor core. The magnetic pole portions have polarities that differ alternately in a circumferential direction. A projection projecting radially outward from an outer circumferential portion of the rotor core is arranged between the magnetic pole portions having different polarities. In a radial opposing relationship of the rotor core and the teeth taken at different times while the rotor is revolved once, at a certain time, a quantity of the teeth that oppose one of the magnetic pole portions and do not oppose the projection is greater than a quantity of the teeth that simultaneously oppose two of the magnetic pole portions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and the projection located in between the magnetic pole portions.

    Abstract: A motor includes a stator, a rotor, a case, and back-surface magnet portions. The rotor has a first rotor core, a second rotor core and a field magnet. Each of the first and second rotor cores has a core base and claw-shaped magnetic poles. The field magnet is sandwiched between the first rotor core and the second rotor core and causes the claw-shaped magnetic poles of the first rotor core and the second rotor core to function as different magnetic poles. The back-surface magnet portions include a second and a first back-surface magnet portions respectively provided on the back surfaces of the claw-shaped magnetic poles of the second rotor core and the first rotor core. Size of the second back-surface magnet portion differs from size of the first back-surface magnet portion are different from each other.

    Abstract: This motor includes a stator having a winding, and a rotor. The rotor rotates by being subjected to a rotating magnetic field generated when a drive current is supplied to the winding. The winding includes a first winding and a second winding. The first winding and the second winding are energized with the same timing by the drive current, and are connected in series. The rotor includes magnetic poles comprising permanent magnets, and magnetic flux permitting portions. In a rotor rotational position in which the magnetic poles oppose the first winding, the magnetic flux permitting portions oppose the second winding and permit the generation of an interlinkage magnetic flux arising as a result of a field weakening current in the second winding.
