摘要: An ejector has a swirling space, a pressure reducing space, a suction passage, a pressure increasing space, a nozzle passage, a diffuser passage, a passage forming member that forms the nozzle passage and the diffuser passage, and a vibration suppressing portion that suppresses a vibration of the passage forming member. The vibration suppressing portion has (i) a first elastic member that applies a load to the passage forming member in a direction in which an area of a cross section perpendicular to the direction of the central axis of the nozzle passage and the diffuser passage decreases and (ii) a second elastic member that applies a load to the passage forming member in a direction opposite from the direction in which the first elastic member applies the load to the passage forming member.

A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flow through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the first passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

摘要: A high pressure pump includes a pump body, a pressurizing chamber, a fuel passage, a union, a seat member, a relief valve seat, a relief valve, a discharge valve seat, a discharge valve, a spring and a spring holder. The union has an inner threaded portion and a step portion formed on an inner wall of the union. The seat member includes a relief passage that extends through the seat member in an axial direction of the seat member and a discharge path that is not in fluid communication with the relief passage. The one opening of the relief passage is closer to the pressurizing chamber than an other opening of the relief passage is to the pressurizing chamber. The one opening of the discharge path is further from the pressurizing chamber than an other opening of the discharge path is from the pressurizing chamber. The seat member is pressed toward the step portion when the spring holder is fastened to the union by engaging the inner threaded portion with the outer threaded portion.

Discharge valve inlets are point-symmetrically formed with respect to the central axis. A discharge valve outlet is formed in another end face thereof and relief valve inlets are point-symmetrically formed with respect to the central axis. A discharge valve outlet and the discharge valve inlets communicate with each other. A flow of fuel from a pressurization chamber to a fuel discharge port is restricted by a discharge valve member capable of closing the discharge valve outlet. The relief valve outlet and the relief valve inlets communicate with each other. A flow of fuel from the fuel discharge port to the pressurization chamber is restricted by a relief valve member capable of closing the relief valve outlet.
