An antenna device and an electronic apparatus are provided that enable a smaller casing and more stable communication by effectively using a magnetic shielding effect of a metal plate, regardless of internal structure or relationship of other components in a mobile apparatus. Included therein is an antenna coil (12) bisected into one side section and another side section of a loop antenna (11) along an edge of a magnetic sheet (110) attached to an inner wall surface of a metal body (111) disposed at a distant position relative to an antenna (121) of an opposing external device. The one side section of the loop antenna (11) opposes the magnetic sheet (110) and the other side section of the loop antenna (11) opposes the metal body (111) disposed at the distant position.

The purpose of the present invention is to ensure satisfactory antenna communication performance even in a case where an antenna coil is placed on the underside of a thermal diffusion sheet. An antenna device (1), incorporated in an electronic apparatus, which communicates with an external device via an electromagnetic field signal, comprising: an antenna coil (12) provided by winding a conducting wire (12a) in a two-dimensional shape and inductively coupled to the external device; and a thermal diffusion sheet (20) provided so as to overlap the antenna coil at a surface of the antenna coil that faces the external device, wherein the thermal diffusion sheet is provided with a slit (18) formed so as to extend from a region overlapping an opening of the antenna coil to an end of the thermal diffusion sheet and a thermal diffusion sheet side opening (19) or slit connected to the slit and formed in the region overlapping the opening of the antenna coil.

An antenna device is incorporated into an electronic apparatus and is able to communicate by receiving a magnetic field transmitted from a reader/writer (120). The antenna device includes an antenna substrate (11), an antenna coil (11a) formed so as to loop around on one surface of the antenna substrate (11), a magnetic sheet (13) inserted into a central section of the antenna coil (11a) to pull in the magnetic field transmitted from the reader/writer (120), and a circuit section that is mounted in a shared circuit mounting region (20) provided on the other surface of the antenna substrate (11) at a position that avoids a position at which the magnetic sheet (13) is inserted and that is connected to an external circuit. At least part of a winding wire of the antenna coil (11a) surrounds at least a portion of circuit components forming the circuit section.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an antenna device that makes it possible to ensure satisfactory communication performance even when the antenna device is mounted in an electronic apparatus with limited mounting space. An antenna device, incorporated in an electronic apparatus, which communicates with an external device via an electromagnetic field signal, comprising: a metal plate provided inside a housing of the electronic apparatus and facing the external device, and an antenna coil provided by winding a conducting wire in a approximately rectangular shape so that parts of the conducting wire that face each other in a width direction via an opening of the antenna coil come close to each other, and inductively coupled to the external device, wherein the antenna coil is provided along a side face of the metal plate.

In order to reduce device size and costs, an antenna device incorporated into an electronic apparatus is provided with an antenna substrate including an antenna coil portion having an antenna coil formed therein, a component portion, and a bending portion arranged along the X-direction, the bending portion being sandwiched between the antenna coil portion and the component portion, wherein on each of the front surface and the back surface of the component portion, an I/O interface for connecting electrically to the body of the electronic apparatus is provided. The antenna substrate is bendable at the bending portion.

Provided is a wireless communication system which has excellent communication characteristics even between antenna modules having antenna coils between which there is a large difference in outside diameter. The wireless communication system includes: a first antenna module including a first antenna coil; and a second antenna module including a second antenna coil and capable of communication by receiving a magnetic field transmitted from the first antenna module, in which the first antenna coil and the second antenna coil have mutually different outside diameters, and, out of the first antenna coil and the second antenna coil, the antenna coil having a larger outside diameter is formed in such a way that the area of an opening portion inside the innermost perimeter of an antenna pattern is not more than 120% of the outside diameter area of the other antenna coil having a smaller outside diameter.
