Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multilayer optical disc having, as an intermediate layer, a cured product layer of an ultraviolet-curable resin composition containing an urethane (meth)acrylate (A) having one or two (meth)acrylate groups in one molecule obtained by reacting a monofunctional or bifunctional organic isocyanate (a) having a molecular weight of 350 or less with a mono(meth)acrylate (b) having a hydroxy group, a (meth)acrylate monomer (B) and a photopolymerization initiator (C), where the content of the (A) component is 5 to less than 40% by weight based on the total amount of the (A) component and the (B) component and the rest is (B), and to a resin composition for said cured product layer. Said resin composition has characteristics that it has a smaller variation in warp before and after curing the above-described resin composition when it is formed into the above-described intermediate layer, it is suitable for shaping a substrate by a 2P method because it allows good detachability of a stamper after curing, it is excellent in mass production of multilayer optical discs, and that the obtained optical disc therefrom has a smaller variation in warp before and after durability test under high temperature and high humidity.
Abstract:
A transmission belt includes: an endless annular hoop formed by overlapping a plurality of thin strip-shaped rings; and a multiplicity of elements supported by the hoop in an annularly arranged state along the hoop, the elements including a saddle surface pressed against an inner circumferential surface of a first ring located at the innermost circumference of the hoop, the transmission belt wound between a plurality of pulleys to transmit power and having a shape in the width direction of the first ring elastically deformed in accordance with the saddle surface in a pressed state while the inner circumferential surface of the first ring is pressed against the saddle surface, wherein the saddle surface is curved as a whole such that a center portion in the width direction bulges out, and wherein a degree of bulging-out of the center portion is smaller as compared to a degree of bulging-out of peripheral portions on the both sides, and the first ring is formed into a curved shape with a center portion in the width direction bulging out toward the outside in a natural state, and when both side portions in the width direction are brought into close contact with the peripheral portions of the saddle surface in a pressed state, the first ring is turned into a curved shape as a whole such that a center portion in the width direction bulges out in accordance with the shapes of the peripheral portions, and wherein the pressing load against the saddle surface is reduced in the center portion in the width direction or a gap is formed.
Abstract:
A catalyst degradation determining method includes the steps of: controlling an upstream-of-catalyst air-fuel ratio occurring upstream of a first catalyst to an air-fuel ratio that is rich of a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio so that first and second catalysts store oxygen up to a maximum storage amount of oxygen. The method then includes the steps of controlling the upstream-of-catalyst air-fuel ratio to a first lean air-fuel ratio until an output of a downstream-of-first-catalyst sensor indicates a lean air-fuel ratio, and then to a second lean air-fuel ratio and that has a value that is determined in accordance with an oxidizing-reducing capability index value, until a time point when an output of a downstream-of-second-catalyst air-fuel ratio sensor indicates an air-fuel ratio that is lean.
