    摘要: A golf green reading device has a lens with a reference line that is illuminated when the reference line is in a horizontal or vertical orientation. The reference line is illuminated by an electrical circuit secured within a housing having a power source, a light source, and a level switch. The user holds the device in a horizontal or vertical orientation to read the slope of a golf green relative to the reference line and determine the correct line to putt the golf ball.

    摘要: This invention relates to a continuous process for production of poly(trimethylene terephthalate), wherein gaseous 1,3-propanediol by-product resulting from the process is condensed in a condenser, the total amount of any trimethylene terephthalate cyclic dimer and poly(trimethylene terephthalate) in the condensed by-product 1,3-propanediol is adjusted, and a portion of the condensed by-product is recycled to the condenser while another portion is recycled back into the process.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for automatically detecting the intactness of ground electrodes in the bath of an induction furnace are described. According to the method a low DC or AC current is applied to an additional insulated electrode extending through the furnace bottom and being in connection with the melt. After melting of the charge this current is measured and compared with a reference value. If the magnitude of the current drops below the reference value an alarm signal is generated. Furthermore, methods and devices for localizing a ground fault are described. By this, the security of the operation of an induction furnace is improved.

    摘要: A data processing system for analyzing customer and employee interactions in a service establishment is disclosed. The data processing system comprises a plurality of remote customer, employee units and a central unit. The units each include a transceiver to send and receive signals. The signals are all received by the central unit and relayed to the appropriate unit. The central unit time stamps and records all signals in a database. The system further comprises an evaluation program which analyzes the signal data to provide employee performance ratings and staffing recommendations.
