    摘要: A process for the production of difluoromethane (HFC-32), 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC-143a) and 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a). In the process the following steps are employed: (a) providing a reaction vessel, (b) providing in the reaction vessel activated carbon impregnated with a strong Lewis acid fluorination catalys selected from halides of As, Sb, Al, TI, In, V, Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr and Hf, (c) activating the catalyst by passing through the activated carbon impregnated with a strong Lewis acid fluorination catalyst anhydrous hydrogen fluoride gas and chlorine gas, (d) contacting, in a vapor state in the reaction vessel containing the activated catalyst, hydrogen fluoride and one or more halogenated hydrocarbons selected from chlorofluoromethane, dichloromethane, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, vinyl chloride, 1,1-dichloroethylene, 1.2-dichloroethylene, 1,2-dichloroethane, and 1,1-dichloroethane for a time and at a temperature to produce a product stream comprising hydrofluorocarbon product(s) corresponding to the chlorinated hydrocarbon reactant(s), and one or more of hydrogen chloride, unreactacted chlorinated hydrocarbon reactant(s), under-fluorinated intermediates, and unreacted hydrogen fluoride, and (e) separating the hydrofluorocarbon product(s) from the product stream.

    摘要: A process for the production of difluoromethane (HFC-32), 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC-143a) and 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a).     摘要: Disclosed is an integrated manufacturing process to co-produce (E)1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, (E)1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoro-propane starting from a single chlorinated hydrocarbon feed stock, 240fa. The process includes a combined liquid or vapor phase reaction/purification operation which directly produces (E)1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1233zd(E)) from 240fa. In the second liquid phase fluorination reactor 1233zd(E) is contacted with HF in the presence of catalyst to produce 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane (245fa) with high conversion and selectivity. A third reactor is used for dehydrofluorination of 245fa to produce (E)1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (1234ze(E)) by contacting in the liquid phase with a caustic solution or in the vapor phase using a dehydrofluorination catalyst. This operation may be followed by one or more purification processes to recover the 1234ze(E) product.

    摘要: Disclosed are compositions useful in a wide variety of applications, including heat transfer fluids which possess a highly desirable and unexpectedly superior combination of properties, and heat transfer systems and methods based on these fluids. The preferred heat transfer fluid comprises from about 1 to about 40 percent, on a weight basis, of carbon dioxide (CO2) and from about 99 to about 60 percent, on a weight basis, of a compound having the Formula I XCFzR3-z (I), where X is a C2 or a C3 unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted, alkyl radical, each R is independently Cl, F, Br, I or H, and z is 1 to 3. A preferred compound of Formula I is tetrafluoropropene, particularly 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropene and/or 1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropene.
