An application library containing a plurality of executable applications is accessible by the design process and sub-processes to access and execute the plurality of application tools.

The system has a processor, a breaker; a network coupled to the processor, a first module coupled to the network and the breaker, a second module coupled to the network, and an algorithm. The algorithm monitors for a permission to trip request. If a plurality of permission to trip requests are received during a given time period, the algorithm issues a permission granted command to the first module and a hold command to the second module.

    摘要： A method for locating a ground fault in an electrical power distribution system includes providing a plurality of current sensors at a plurality of locations in the electrical power distribution system. The method further includes detecting a ground fault in the electrical power distribution system. Current is monitored at a plurality of locations in the electrical power distribution system via the current sensors and a test signal is introduced into the electrical power distribution system via a test signal generating device. The plurality of locations are monitored to locate the ground fault between a location at which the test signal is detected and a downstream location at which the test signal is not detected.

    摘要： There is provided a method of controlling circuit breakers in a multi-phase power system. The method includes (a) recognizing a concurrent presence of a first fault in a first phase of the power system and a second fault in a second phase of the power system, where the power system includes a first circuit breaker situated to conduct a fault current between the first and second phases; and (b) controlling a second circuit breaker to open so that the fault current is interrupted, where the second circuit breaker, when closed, provides current to the first circuit breaker.

    摘要： A collapsible contact arm drive link arrangement for a circuit breaker operating mechanism has a pair of upper links for receiving the circuit breaker operating mechanism and a lower link for receiving a circuit breaker contact arm carrier at one end. Intermediate the upper links and the lower link, a scissors link, which is connected with the upper links and lower link, allows the lower link to move from a first position (e.g., closed) to a second position (e.g., tripped). The movement occurs upon the application of a force on the lower link in excess of a predetermined force that is applied to the upper links.
