摘要: A device management system includes a system management information handling system (IHS) that is coupled to a network. A first device is included in the device management system and is not configured to communicate with the system management IHS. A plurality of user IHSs are each configured to communicatively couple to the first device and are each configured to communicatively couple to the system management IHS through the network. Each of the plurality of user IHSs is configured to retrieve device information from the first device when that user IHS is communicatively coupled to the first device. Each of the plurality of user IHSs is configured to provide the device information for the first device to the system management IHS when that user IHS is communicatively coupled to the system management IHS through the network.

摘要: Identifying characteristics integrated in a totem and detected by a capacitive display mat are applied to perform functions in response to end user inputs. Identifying characteristics include capacitive feet integrated in a totem bottom surface with identifying features including varying capacitive values for the feet, varying pad sizes and shapes, varying pad patterns and varying capacitive oscillation frequencies. In one embodiment, the surface area of the totem in contact with the capacitive mat varies depending upon the pressure placed on the totem to alter the shape of a compressible material disposed at the bottom surface.

摘要: Desktop surface references are selected and applied to define a coordinate system for calibrating projected visual images and end user inputs at the projected visual images. For example, a desktop edge is detected with the depth camera by the increase in detected distance along the axis from the depth camera to the desktop edge, and then the desktop edge is used as an origin for a coordinate system that defines a projection area for presenting a user interface. Monitoring end user inputs and projected outputs relative to the desktop edge aids in coordinating interactions by a user through the projected user interface in the event the camera or projector move relative to the desktop surface.

摘要: In accordance with the present disclosure, multi-user peer-to-peer collaboration systems and methods are described herein. An example method may include establishing peer-to-peer communications channels with end-user devices. Display signals may be received from each of the end-user devices over the peer-to-peer communications channels. Each end-user device may transmit a separate display of a separate peer-to-peer communications channel. A composite data stream may be generated from the display signals. The composite data stream may comprise a subset of the display signals. The method may further include outputting the composite data stream to a display device.

摘要: Visual images projected on a projection surface by a projector provide an interactive user interface having end user inputs detected by a detection device, such as a depth camera. The detection device monitors projected images initiated in response to user inputs to determine calibration deviations, such as by comparing the distance between where a user makes an input and where the input is projected. Calibration is performed to align the projected outputs and detected inputs. The calibration may include a coordinate system anchored by its origin to a physical reference point of the projection surface, such as a display mat or desktop edge.

摘要: Eye tracking across multiple displays is supported with re-definition of a gaze vector matrix that correlates a surface of a first display with detected eye gazes as inputs to an information handling system to include a surface of a second display. Eye gazes that correlate to the second display are mapped to the redefined gaze vector matrix, such as with a calibration performed by a user or an estimate derived from tracked eye gazes. The information handling system applies a map of display surface areas to the gaze vector matrix to sort reported eye gazes as at a location of the first display surface, a location of the second display surface or discarded as outside of either display surface.
