摘要: An intra-oral optical scanning method for intra-oral optical scanning including projecting a pattern, the pattern including at least a first area illuminated by a first color of light and a second area illuminated by a second color of light and at least one non-illuminated area onto an intra-oral feature, making a first image of the first area, the second area and the non-illuminated area differentiating between the first color of light and the second color of light in the first image of the projected pattern, and determining from the image of the non-illuminated area at least one of an ambient light level, a level of scattered light, a level of light absorption and a level of light reflected from at least one of the first area and the second area. Related apparatus and methods are also described.

摘要: An intra oral scanner (IOS) including a probe is disclosed. Optionally, the probe is calibrated to measure locations at a higher accuracy than the IOS. For example, the probe may be used to locate points in a 3D map at high precision and/or the points used to increase the precision of location of other points and/or surfaces in the map. In some embodiments, the probe includes a sensor. Optionally, the probe may be used to measure locations that are hard to view with the IOS. For example, the IOS probe combination may be used to produce 3D maps of a recess in a tooth and/or gums and/or a periodontal pocket and/or to traduce a 3D map or periodontal disease. In some embodiments the probe may be used to measure physical properties, for example, the IOS probe combination may be used to produce a 3D image of hardness of mucosa.

摘要: An in-vivo dental surgical guide verification method including: receiving first information including: dental surgical guide information of a dental surgical guide, and hard structure information of a hard structure of a patient's mouth; positioning the surgical guide within the patient's mouth; contacting a stylus to a surface of the hard structure of the patient mouth; acquiring image information corresponding to an image which includes at least a portion of the stylus and a portion of the dental surgical guide therein using an imager; and comparing the image information with the first information.

摘要: According to some embodiments there is provided a method for structured light scanning of an intra-oral scene, comprising: projecting onto the intra-oral scene a color-coded pattern comprising an arrangement of entities having edges between them; each entity comprising a different narrow band of wavelengths; and detecting the projected pattern as a plurality of pixels in an acquired image of the scene using at least two narrowband filters, wherein for each pixel of at least 95% of the pixels of an entity of interest comprising a first band of wavelengths, a contribution of light from a second band of wavelengths of an adjacent entity is less than 10%.Some embodiments relate to a scanner system for structured light scanning of an intra-oral scene.
