    摘要: A method for controlling channel access in a mobile communication system. A base station generates a broadcast channel frame, which includes status information indicating whether channel codes which are changing in real time are occupied or not. The base station transmits the broadcast channel frame at predetermined intervals. Then, a mobile station selects an available channel code based on information from the received broadcast channel frame, generates a channel assignment request message, and transmits the channel assignment request message on a random access channel. Upon reception of the channel assignment request message on the random access channel, the base station assigns a channel, sets a transmission rate, and transmits the information on a forward access channel.

The base station receives channel access information from the mobile station via a reverse access channel; and examines a length of transmission data, included in the received channel access information, to determine whether the transmission data continues in at least one succeeding frame; and reserves a specific access slot on the reverse access channel for the mobile station via a forward access channel when the data continues in the at least one succeeding frame.

    摘要: A device and method for communicating voice data in packet form in a mobile communication system. In the packet voice data communication method, upon generation of voice data, a packet voice channel is assigned, and an active state is entered where packetized voice data is transmitted on the voice channel. If there is no voice data for a predetermined time period while in the active state, the assigned voice channel is released, and an inactive state is entered where no voice data is transmitted. If the next voice data is generated while in the inactive state, the voice channel active state is entered where a voice channel is assigned to transmit the next voice data, and the voice data is transmitted.

In a method of operating a Relay Station (RS) for UpLink (UL) radio resource allocation in a wideband wireless communication system, the method includes relaying to a Base Station (BS) a resource request message of at least one or more Mobile Stations (MSs); receiving data from the at least one or more mobile stations; if the received data is non-real time traffic, queuing the data received from the mobile stations according to a traffic type; and requesting the base station to allocate necessary radio resources by checking a queue status.     摘要: Provided is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving signals in a communication system. A base station allocates a quasi-dedicated control channel (QDCCH) to a first mobile station (MS), and allocates the QDCCH allocated to the first MS, to a second MS for a preset time. An MS receives a QDCCH allocated from the base station. If there is data to transmit to the base station, the MS determines whether the QDCCH is allocated to another MS different from the MS. If it is determined that the QDCCH is allocated to the MS itself, the MS transmits the data to the base station over the QDCCH.

    摘要: A method and system for supporting Internet Protocol (IP) mobility of a Mobile Node (MN) in a mobile communication system. In the mobile communication system supporting Mobile IP (MIP) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), MIP location registration is performed in a Home Agent (HA) through a first FA (Foreign Agent) of a first foreign network in which the MN is located. When the MN receives a SIP invite message from a Correspondent Node (CN), it sends, to the CN, a SIP response OK message in which a home address of the MN is recorded. The CN sends a packet to the home address of the MN in a state in which a SIP call of the MN is established. The number of signaling messages and a delay time associated with a handover can be reduced, because the CN sends packets only to the home address of the MN regardless of a changed location of the MN.

To increase or decrease a reverse data rate, an MS receives threshold power information indicating a power threshold for a pilot channel from the BS and measures the reception power of the pilot channel received from the BS. When the MS is supposed to increase or decrease the current data rate, it increases the current data rate by two levels or decreases the current data rate by one level if the pilot reception power is higher than the power threshold, and increases the current data rate by one level or decreases the current data rate by two levels if the pilot reception power is equal to lower than the power threshold.
