摘要: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for an improved wireless charging transceiver pad. An example method includes: (i) receiving, by a cordless transceiver, a first plurality of power waves transmitted from a wireless power transmitter that is distinct from the cordless transceiver; (ii) charging at least partially, using energy received by the cordless transceiver from the first plurality of power waves, a first battery of the cordless transceiver; and (iii) transmitting, by the cordless transceiver using the first battery, a second plurality of power waves to a receiver, where the receiver is configured to convert energy from the second plurality of power waves to charge a second battery of an electronic device that is coupled with the receiver. The cordless transceiver is distinct from the receiver and the electronic device, and the first plurality of power waves is distinct from the second plurality of power waves.

摘要: The present disclosure describes a methodology for wireless power transmission based on pocket-forming. This methodology may include one transmitter and at least one or more receivers, being the transmitter the sender of energy and the receiver the device that is desired to charge or power. In the present disclosures, transmitters may power devices within a predefined range out of which devices may not be operable. This configuration may be beneficial in retail store settings where improved interactivity between users and devices is required. In addition, the configuration provides a safety feature to avoid unauthorized usage of electronic devices. A variation of this configuration is given in an academic setting where electronic devices utilized for learning are required to stay within school premises. Finally, an example of how such devices may improve their own form factors by using the disclosed wireless power transmission may be provided.

摘要: The present disclosure may provide a wireless power system which may be used to provide wireless power transmission while using pocket-forming. The wireless power system may be used in a house for providing power and charge to a plurality of mobile and non-mobile devices. The house may include a single base station that may be connected to several transmitters. The base station may manage operation of every transmitter in an independently manner or may operate them as a single transmitter. The connection between the base station and transmitters may be achieved through a plurality of techniques including wired connections and wireless connections. The base station may include at least one micro-controller and a power source.

摘要: The embodiments described herein include a transmitter that transmits a power transmission signal (e.g., radio frequency (RF) signal waves) to create a three-dimensional pocket of energy. At least one receiver can be connected to or integrated into electronic devices and receive power from the pocket of energy. The transmitter can locate the at least one receiver in a three-dimensional space using a communication medium (e.g., Bluetooth® technology). The transmitter generates a waveform to create a pocket of energy around each of the at least one receiver. The transmitter uses an algorithm to direct, focus, and control the waveform in three dimensions. The receiver can convert the transmission signals (e.g., RF signals) into electricity for powering an electronic device. Accordingly, the embodiments for wireless power transmission can allow powering and charging a plurality of electrical devices without wires.

摘要: Configurations and methods of wireless power transmission for cordless power tools are disclosed. Wireless power transmission for charging one or more cordless power tools may include a toolbox with an embedded transmitter capable of emitting RF waves for the generation of pockets of energy; a battery attached or embedded in the toolbox to supply power to the transmitter; a cable that may connect toolbox's battery to a suitable external power source for charging; and one or more cordless power tools which may include rechargeable batteries and receivers that may utilize pockets of energy for wireless charging or powering. When the battery in the toolbox is charged to suitable levels, the toolbox can be disconnected from the external power source and carried to an area or location where one or more cordless power tools may receive wireless charging.

摘要: The present disclosure provides various methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless regulation of temperature of contents of a receptacle. The apparatus includes a receiver coupled to the receptacle, which receives pockets of energy generated in response to radio frequency waves. These radio frequency waves can be emitted by a pocket-forming transmitter in response to communication from the receptacle. The receiver coupled to the receptacle then provides electrical energy to a temperature regulating component associated with it. This temperature regulating component is configured to alter temperature of contents of the receptacle to desired temperature. Also disclosed is a cup containing liquids, such as beverages, which may be controllably heated to, or maintained at, a desired temperature using wireless power transmission.
