    摘要: Power locking and unlocking apparatus for a vehicle''s doors each having a latch and locking means movable from latch locking position to latch unlocking position and vice versa, the locking and unlocking apparatus comprising a reversible permanent magnet motor associated with each door and being operable in one direction or the other in response to the closing of a switch to lock or unlock the associated latch means. The power locking and unlocking apparatus associated with selected doors is operable to effect locking and unlocking of the latch means of all of the doors from inside the vehicle. The locking and unlocking apparatus associated with selected doors is operable by key controlled means and such key controlled means preferably has associated with it switch means operable from outside the vehicle to energize one or all of the locking and unlocking motors so as to permit one or all of the latch locking means to be operated by a selected one of the key controlled means. Time delay means preferably is associated with each of the locking and unlocking motors to provide a time interval between successive operations of any of the motors.

    摘要: A motor actuated mechanism for releasing the latch by means of which a vehicle''s pivoted back seat back is restrained against pivotal movement. The mechanism comprises a latch member normally urged into latching engagement with a keeper and being connected by a linkage to an electric motor which may be driven in such direction as to move the latch to its released position. A current limiting resistance is inserted in the circuit of the electric motor in response to movement of the operating linkage to its latch-releasing position so as to protect the motor circuit against electrical overload. Spring means is operable to restore the latch and linkage to their latching positions automatically in response to deenergization of the motor circuit.

    摘要: A connector for electrical terminals has a housing within which is accommodated a rotary and axially movable first terminal carrier which constantly is biased by a spring to move axially of the housing toward a second terminal carrier which is rotatably assembled with the housing and is drivingly coupled to the first carrier to impart rotation thereto. Discontinuous flanges on the housing and the first carrier disable axial movement of the latter in one position of rotary adjustment thereof and in a second position of rotary adjustment enable axial movement of the first carrier toward the second carrier. The second carrier has discontinuous flanges which cooperate with the discontinuous flanges on the housing in the second position of rotary adjustment of the carriers to prevent separation of the second carrier from the housing. The terminals carried by the carriers confront one another and engage a resilient, compressible pad of elastomeric material containing electrically conductive particles which establish a conductive path between the confronting terminals. The terminals themselves preferably are integrally formed at the free ends of wire conductors.
