Abstract: A curing composition for rubber includes: a metallic co-agent selected from the group consisting of zinc diacrylate and zinc methacrylate; organic peroxide; sulfur; and a hydrotalcite compound. The curing composition and a rubber matrix can be used to make an uncured rubber composition. A cured rubber is obtainable by curing the uncured rubber composition.
