摘要： A process is disclosed for the preparation of a heat mode recording element comprising (A) laminating a layer pack (1) containing a temporary support, a release layer, a protective layer, an optional intermediate layer, a subbing layer and a thin metal layer, preferably a bismuth layer, to a layer pack (2) comprising a (thermo)adhesive layer and a permanent support, and (B) peeling off the temporary support and the release layer. In an alternative embodiment, when the protective layer contains a radiation-curable composition, the intermediate layer and the subbing layer can be omitted. A heat mode image is obtained by exposing information-wise a thus defined recording element by means of intense laser radiation, preferably produced by an infra-red laser.

摘要： A method for inkjet printing includes, in order, the steps of a) providing an ink-receiver having an image thereon; b) forming on the ink-receiver a layer of a first curable liquid and curing the layer; and c) forming an outermost layer of a second curable liquid only on the cured first curable liquid and at least partially covering the image; wherein the second curable liquid contains an abherent agent which is absent in the first curable liquid and wherein at least one of the first and second curable liquids is inkjet printed. Also, a polymerizable abherent agent may be used in a curable liquid to prevent falsification of an ID document. Also, a set of curable liquids for inkjet printing includes a first curable liquid and a second curable liquid wherein the second curable liquid contains an abherent agent which is absent in the first curable liquid.

The coating device includes an irradiation stage that is arranged to be moveable with the annular coating stage and to provide radiation to at least partially cure the layer of coating formulation onto the peripheral surface so as to prevent flow off of the coating formulation.
