摘要: A method and system for monitoring creep in a moving object are provided. The creep monitoring system includes a creep sensor assembly formed onto a surface of an object rotatable about an axis, the creep sensor assembly includes at least one of an image pattern and a radio frequency interrogatable circuit. The creep monitoring system also includes an online monitoring system communicatively coupled to the creep sensor assembly. The online monitoring system configured to collect information from the creep sensor assembly relative to an amount and a rate of creep of the object. The creep monitoring system also includes a processor programmed to receive the information, correct the information for movement of the creep sensor assembly during the collection, and determine a creep rate, a crack presence, and a temperature of the object simultaneously.

摘要: An ultrasound inspection system is provided for inspecting an object. The inspection system includes an ultrasound probe configured to scan the object and acquire a plurality of ultrasound scan data. The inspection system further includes a processor coupled to the ultrasound probe and configured to apply a transfer function to the ultrasound scan data to compensate for distortion of a plurality of ultrasound signals through the object and thereby generate a plurality of compensated ultrasound scan data, and to process the compensated ultrasonic scan data to characterize a feature in the object.

摘要: A method for fabricating an ultrasound transducer structure is disclosed. The method includes performing the steps of forming a functional layer, including an ultrasound transducer material and a photopolymer, and exposing a plurality of selected regions of the functional layer to a programmable light pattern to cure the selected regions of the functional layer to form polymerized ultrasound transducer material regions, repeatedly. The method further includes selectively removing unexposed regions of the functional layer to obtain a green component, and sintering the green component to obtain the sensing structure. A system for making at least one piezoelectric element is also disclosed.

摘要: A method and system for booting an electronic device from a NAND flash memory includes a NAND flash controller that receives an event trigger for fetching a pre-boot code stored in the NAND flash memory. Based on the event trigger type, booting parameters are loaded into the controller including a boot frequency of the NAND flash memory. The controller searches for a good memory block in which the pre-boot code is stored by checking the first and second or the first and last pages of a memory block and fetches a portion or the entire pre-boot code based on the event trigger type at the boot frequency.

The method includes (a) depositing a first material slurry on at least a portion of a substrate, (b) spreading the first material slurry to a form a first material layer having a first determined thickness, (c) exposing the first material layer using light processed through a determined light pattern mask to form a first matching layer, and (d) repeating steps (a)-(c) with different material slurries to form the graded matching layer structure.
