摘要: A vehicle stabilizing control apparatus is disclosed which includes a vehicle velocity sensor, an angular velocity sensor, and a lateral acceleration sensor that detects a lateral acceleration of the vehicle or a steering angle sensor that detects a steering angle. The angular velocity sensor detects an angular velocity about an axis defined by inclining a vertical upward or downward axis of a vehicle at a predetermined angle in the forward or rearward direction of the vehicle.

摘要: A flame retardant aid which serves to provide synthetic resins with sufficient flame retardancy when used together with a decreased amount of aluminum or magnesium hydroxide, and serves to give resin compositions which have color stability against heat and can be almost freely colored. 摘要: A safety device for a vehicle, capable of relaxing a collision load acting on a colliding body. The safety device (10) for a vehicle has colliding body receiving sections (24), and opposite longitudinal ends of each colliding body receiving section (24) are bent to form legs (26) having ends (26A). The ends (26A) are fixed to side frames (16) on the vehicle body side to form impact absorption members (22). The safety device (10) is adapted so that, while supporting a collision load, the impact absorption members (22) are displaced to absorb collision energy of the colliding body. The impact absorption members (22) can produce displacement regions that acts against an increase in the displacement in the direction of collision to suppress an increase in supporting load.

摘要: Petunia explants are irradiated with heavy-ion beams, and the chimeric individuals differentiated from the explants are selected (FSRP method). Then, explants are obtained from the chimeric individuals and subjected to tissue culture, followed by selection of re-differentiated chimeric individuals with stable characters (SSRP method). By these procedures, it becomes possible to create chimeric plants such as variegated petunia efficiently.

摘要: A method for joining hair includes the steps of winding joining hair around and loosely knotting the same to a rod member, which is provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals, withdrawing the joining hair wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, through the loop portion after a strand of natural hair on the scalp of a person's head is inserted into the loop portion, and tightly knotting a knot portion of the joining hair thus withdrawn, by pulling opposite ends of the joining hair so that the joining hair is tied to the natural hair strand at the knot portion. A hair-joining device used in this method comprises a rod member provided on one end thereof with a loop portion having flexibility, and the rod member having joining hair which is wound around and loosely knotted to the rod member, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals. It is very advantageous if the hair-joining device comprises an inner rod member provided on one end thereof with a loop portion, the inner rod member having joining hair which is wound around and loosely knotted to the inner rod member, unit by unit, at predetermined intervals, and an outer cylindrical member for receiving therein the inner rod member having the joining hair. According to the invention, joining hair can be firmly tied to natural hair on the scalp of a person's head in an efficient manner, using a loop portion normally having a constant dimension.
