The friction roller consists of several rotatable elements installed next to each other which are mounted on a shaft. One of the elements is connected non-rotatably with the shaft, the other elements of the friction roller are freely rotatable on the shaft and are connected to each other by a differential gear transmission. The differential gear transmission is in the form of a friction wheel transmission. The axes of the friction wheel transmission are at a perpendicular to the shaft.

A plurality of winding stations installed next to each other is serviced by a yarn guidance rod made of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic which can be moved back and forth. The yarn guidance rod is provided with a sheathing. The yarn guidance rod has segments made of a highly heat-expandable material in order to achieve heat compensation as compared with the textile machine.

摘要： An open-end spinning device with a fiber feeding channel which extends from a housing with a rotating opening roller to a spinning element. The fiber feeding channel comprises two channel sections which can be moved towards each other and can be brought into alignment with each other. The first channel section is located in an insert of the housing and is capable of axial movement in the housing. The insert is urged by an elastic element in the direction of the second channel section and is covered by a screen on its end towards the interior of the housing, at least on the downstream side (with reference to the rotational direction of the opening roller). A seal is located between the insert and the housing.

摘要： A winding process for winding yarn into a cross-wound bobbin in the textile machine includes depositing the yarn on a bobbin in a transversing stroke by a transversing movement of a yarn guide. The process includes intermittently decreasing the traversing stroke from a maximum value to a minimum value and then increasing the value of the traversing stroke from the minimum value back to a relatively constant maximum value and holding the stroke at the maximum value for a predetermined period of time. The traversing frequency of the yarn guide is decreased to a relatively constant minimum value substantially simultaneously with the increasing of the traversing stroke from the minimum value back to the relatively constant maximum value. The traversing frequency is maintained at the constant minimum value for a predetermined period of time. The traversing frequency of the yarn guide is then increased from the constant minimum value after the predetermined period of time. The duration of the decreasing of the traversing frequency of the yarn guide is shorter than the duration of the maximum value of the traversing stroke.

摘要： A spinning rotor of an open-end spinning device is slowed down for piecing to a low rotational piecing speed and is then accelerated to the operating speed. For this purpose, the spinning rotor or an element in driving connection with it is presented a drive transmission device from a service unit by means of which the spinning rotor can be switched from normal production speed to a reduced piecing speed and back. In this process, the drive transmission device can be driven either by a driving apparatus installed on the service unit or by a drive belt extending within spinning machine. The driving apparatus mounted on the service unit is connected to a control device for the control of the evolution of the rotational speed of the spinning rotor. The spinning rotor is driven according to a rotational speed course controlled by means of a program applied by the control device during the time when its rotational speed deviates from its operating speed.
