摘要: A portable EEG (electroencephalograph) instrument, especially for use in emergencies and brain assessments in physicians' offices, detects and amplifies brain waves and converts them into digital data for analysis by comparison with data from normal groups. In one embodiment, the EEG electrodes are in a headband which broadcasts the data, by radio or cellular phone, to a local receiver for re-transmission and/or analysis. In another embodiment, the subject is stimulated in two modes, i.e., aural and sensory, at two different frequencies to provide the subject's EPs (Evoked Potentials), assessing transmission through the brainstem and thalamus.

摘要: One or more processors receive a request for a secure digital asset and execute a validation protocol defined for validating the request. The validation protocol may define conditions for fulfilling the request that include one or more conditions related to information about an identified user requesting the request or information indicative of a routing-aspect of the request. The one or more processors attempt to validate the request based on assessment of the conditions specified in the validation protocol. If validation is unsuccessful, the one or more processors instruct the user to undertake one or more multi-factor authentication actions, which may include choices from a plurality of possible multi-factor authentication options and/or certain required multi-factor authentication options, defined by the protocol. The one or more processors validate and fulfil the request responsive to confirming successful undertaking of the one or more multi-factor authentication actions by the user.

摘要: Stimulation treatment of medical disorders use stimulation parameters that provide stimulation of a target site directly or create partial stimulation signals that combine into vector signals that stimulate a target site. Stimulation signals have characteristics such as frequency, timing, temporal content that is adjusted for the person being treated. Signals are designed with advantageous characteristics to influence target tissue in an intended manner and avoid producing unwanted side-effects. Stimulation signals are designed to match or avoid internal/endogenous activity (e.g., brain patterns and rhythms) of a patient. Methods for choosing, creating and partial signals are disclosed. Tissue modulation may be accomplished with electrical and/or magnetic stimulation, such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.

摘要: A method of providing neuromodulation treatment to a patient includes both an assessment procedure prior to the application of magnetic stimulation signal to the patient during a treatment period of time. The assessment procedure is completed prior to the treatment period of time and senses an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal of the person and then an evaluates the EEG signal to obtain a measure of a patient's endogenous brain activity within a selected EEG band of the EEG signal of the patient. A control subsystem adjusts a stimulation protocol parameter used in the generation of the magnetic stimulation signal based upon the measure of a characteristic of the patient's endogenous brain activity obtained during the assessment procedure. The adjusted magnetic signal is then applied to the head of the patient for providing treatment to the patient patient's brain.

摘要: An illustrative fraud deterrent method includes presenting an identity verification option for a first website displayed in a web-browser, the option including offering a login to a third-party website, unrelated to the first website. The method further includes receiving login information for a first user account on the third-party website and verifying the login information through a verification service associated with the third-party website, to verify that the login information is valid for the first user account, identified by the login information. The method additionally includes verifying an identity at the first website, responsive to the verification.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for providing fraud deterrents, detection and prevention during e-commerce, e-transactions, digital rights management and access control. Fraud deterrent levels may be automatically selected by a requesting transaction approval entity server (and can be related to level of risk, or security, related to fraud) or may be selected by a consumer. These deterrent levels can determine the manner in which the transaction occurs as well as the types of information that must be provided and validated for successful approval of the transaction. The client can associate their credit card with a specific device, an e-identity, such as an instant messaging identity, and the e-identity is contacted as a part of finalizing a payment transaction so that a client response of ‘approve’ or ‘reject’ can be obtained. The anti-fraud technology also provides for management and storage of historical transaction information. Entity-to-client communication occurs according to merchant permission parameters which are defined by the client and which enable messages sent by the entity to be automatically allowed, rejected, and managed in other ways as well.
