The map matching apparatus comprises: an information center for calculating an optimum route to a destination inputted by a user based upon a present location of the mobile communication terminal, and generating a format of route data based upon the calculated optimum route; and an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) terminal for detecting the present location of the mobile terminal to generate location data, processing the route data, performing map matching based upon the location data to determine whether the user travels on a given route or departs from the route, and performing road guidance based upon a result of the map matching.

    摘要: A method for transmitting and for storing destination information in a mobile communication terminal is disclosed. The method for transmitting destination information includes determining whether a navigation mode is enabled and, if the navigation mode is enabled, determining whether a hot key is pressed for a predetermined time. If the hot key is pressed for the predetermined time, destination address information corresponding to the hot key is read, and transmitted to an information center over a wireless network. Therefore, since a phone book of the mobile communication terminal is interworked with destination address information for navigation, the present invention simplifies procedures needed to transmit the destination address information using the mobile communication terminal.

The integrated remote control system includes an integrated remote controller for generating a radio control signal for each electronic device and transmitting the radio control signal through one infrared channel such that a plurality of electronic devices can be integrally remote-controlled, a remote control signal converting device for receiving a radio control signal controlling a predetermined electronic device in the integrated remote controller and transmitting the received radio control signal by inserting infrared channel data for the predetermined electronic device into the received radio control signal, and a re-transmitter for receiving the radio control signal including the infrared channel data from the remote control signal converting device, generating an infrared channel according to the infrared channel data, and re-transmitting the radio control signal to the predetermined electronic device through the infrared channel.

When a user selects a lost credit card from a credit card loss report menu, the mobile terminal accesses an Automated Response System (ARS) of the related credit card company and automatically conducts the credit card loss report. The mobile terminal outputs a Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) signal corresponding to the responses required by the ARS, and thereby automatically conduct the credit card loss report, which eliminates the need to enter all required responses manually.
