    摘要: Interference-avoiding distance measurement is provided. A controller of a first wireless device is configured for wireless communication over a first transmission protocol with a second wireless device. One or more occupied channels of a second transmission protocol are identified, the first and second transmission protocols having overlapping frequency spectrums. A channel plan is constructed according to the occupied channels, the channel plan using a set of channels of the first transmission protocol that do not overlap in frequency with the one or more occupied channels of the second transmission protocol. Phase-based ranging is performed using data scanned via the channel plan. A distance measurement is indicated based on the phase-based ranging.

A computer-implemented method may include activating a vehicle connectivity module responsive to detection of a thermal event external to the vehicle by a vehicle thermal sensor, confirming, by the vehicle connectivity module, the detection of the thermal event by utilizing other thermal sensor inputs of the vehicle, and responsive to the confirmation, commanding a vehicle system to perform at least one assistance feature to provide notification of the thermal event to a user.

    摘要: A vehicle receives designation of a coverage area for deployment of a portable network comprised of a plurality of wireless-equipped toolboxes and determines a plurality of toolboxes available for use in the network based on indications to the vehicle from a plurality of toolboxes that they are usable in the network. The vehicle determines a placement of the available toolboxes within the coverage area to achieve a wireless network having at least one box location capable of reaching a location designated as a vehicle parking location with wireless communication, the location determined by the vehicle based at least in part on the ability of the vehicle to reach the location and a known cellular signal available at the location. The vehicle provides guidance for deployment of individual toolboxes of the plurality of toolboxes at deployment locations according to the determined placement.
