Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for MIMO inter-stream interference cancellation are disclosed. One method includes determining a channel matrix between a plurality of transmitting antennas of a transmitter and a plurality of receiving antennas of a receiver, determining a plurality of channel propagation delays based on a propagation delay between each of the plurality of transmitting antennas and each of the plurality of receiving antennas, determining differences in the plurality of channel propagation delays, preprocessing, by the transmitter, streams of symbols for each transmitting antenna for transmission based on the differences in the plurality of channel propagation delays and based on the channel matrix, and transmitting, by the transmitter, the preprocessed symbol streams through the plurality of transmitting antennas.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for a site survey tool are disclosed. One site survey tool includes an elevated platform comprising a directionally adjustable beam-forming antenna, and operates to adjust an elevation (z coordinate) of the adjustable beam-forming antenna, a ground unit that operates to adjust to a plurality of locations (x and y coordinates). The elevated platform and the ground unit operate to determine an angular spread boundary of a supercell base station, determine a power azimuth angular spectrum threshold needed in order for the supercell base station to support adaptive sectorization, estimate a power azimuth angular spectrum of a site, and determine that the site supports the supercell base station if the estimated power azimuth angular spectrum of the site is less than the power azimuth angular spectrum threshold at the angular spread boundary.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for a site survey tool are disclosed. One site survey tool includes an elevated platform, wherein the elevated platform includes a directionally adjustable beam-forming antenna, wherein the elevated platform operates to adjust an elevation of the adjustable beam-forming antenna, and wherein the elevated platform operates to transmit or receive wireless signals while the directionally adjustable beam-forming antenna changes a beam direction. Further, a ground unit transmits wireless signals to the elevated platform or receives wireless signals from the elevated platform while the directionally adjustable beam-forming antenna changes the beam direction. A signal quality of received wireless signals is measured, and a power azimuth angular spectrum of a surveyed site is estimated based on a known motion of the adjustable beam-forming antenna, a known beam-forming pattern of the adjustable beam-forming antenna, and the measured phase and amplitude of the received wireless signals.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for distributing resource block between interfering cells, are disclosed. One method includes allocating resource blocks to a plurality of macro-cells and a plurality of sectors of a supercell, wherein the supercell includes a wireless communication cell that provides wireless coverage to a larger region than the plurality of macro-cells and includes the plurality of sectors, wherein each of the macro-cells provide wireless coverage that at least partially overlaps with a region of wireless coverage of the supercell, wherein the supercell includes one or more supercell sector coverage areas that are interfered by at least one macro-cell. The allocating the resource blocks includes determining which of the plurality of macro-cells wirelessly interfere with which of the plurality of sectors, and determining, for each interfered sector, a total unmet demand of the interfered sector and interfering macro-cells for a coverage area of the interfered sector.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for assisted channel approximation wireless communication of a supercell base station are disclosed. One apparatus includes a wireless network, wherein the wireless network includes a supercell base station comprising a plurality of antennas, a plurality of user devices, wherein the plurality of user devices is located too far away to support omnidirectional electromagnetic communication with the supercell base station, and a separate communication device located proximate to the plurality of user devices. The separate communication device operates to receive omnidirectional wireless signals from the supercell base station, characterized a transmission channel between the supercell base station and the separate communication device, and directionally transmit the characterized channel back to the base station. The supercell base station operates to directionally transmit wireless communication signals through a directional beam to the plurality of user devices based on the characterized channel.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems for analog spatial multiplexing are disclosed. One apparatus includes a receiver, wherein the receiver includes a plurality of antennas operative to receive a plurality of wireless signals, a plurality of tunable time delays, and a plurality of frequency response equalizers, wherein a time delay of each of the tunable time delays is adjusted based on a feedback of measurements of one or more pilot tones of more than one output of the plurality of frequency response equalizers.
