    摘要: This integrated semiconductor device aims at drastic reduction of the direct secondary breakdown phenomena and has a plurality of side-by-side elementary transistors forming an interdigited structure. To reduce the thermal interaction between the elementary transistors, the latter are spaced apart from one another by a distance approximately equal to the width of one elementary transistor and are driven by current sources. Spacing apart reduces electrothermal interaction. Further, in order to minimize the device area requirements, the space between any two adjacent elementary transistors is made to accommodate drive transistors operating as current sources, or the elementary transistors of the complementary stage where the device forms a class B output stage, the two output transistors whereof are alternatively switched on.

    摘要: This amplifier stage has saturation control and high dynamics. The stage comprises a pair of input current sources connected in series between a pair of reference voltage lines, a pair of output transistors, connected between the pair of reference voltage lines and defining an intermediate output terminal and a driving circuit comprising active elements and interposed between the input current sources and the output transistors. Saturation control is achieved through a pair of control circuits, one for each output transistor, comprising each a resistor interposed between the driving circuit and the respective output transistor so as to preset the balance saturation gain of the respective output transistor, and a transistor connected with its base to the driving circuit and with its collector and emitter between the output of the amplifier stage and the intermediate connection point between the input current sources, so as to define a negative feedback reducing imbalances existing between the currents fed by the input current sources, and therefore prevent high saturation levels of the transistors.

    摘要: A circuit is for monitoring the powering of a remote device through a LAN without generating an extra biasing voltage higher than the DC power supply voltage. DC voltage used for supplying the remote device is applied to the LAN line while an AC voltage is applied to the line for monitoring whether the remote device is connected to the LAN line. The DC voltage is applied to a first or “high” terminal and the AC voltage is applied to the other or “low” terminal of the LAN line through a decoupling capacitor. This arrangement allows the supplying of the remote device with a large DC voltage compatible with a fully integrated AC signal generator, disconnection detector, and PSE controller, and enhances the reliability of the recognition of whether the powered device is connected to, or disconnected from, the LAN line.

    摘要: A monolithically integrated audio amplifier which is commutable from a stereo configuration to a bridge configuration and vice versa may have only seven pins, namely: two output pins, two input pins, an supply pin, a ground pin and a SVR pin. It comprises two operational amplifiers which may both have two distinct input differential stages, a first input differential stage being fedback according to a stereo configuration while the other input differential stage being fedback according to a bridge configuration of the two operational amplifiers. A comparator with an internally fixed threshold determines, in function of its output state, the switching on or the switching off of one or the other of said two distinct input differential stages of the two operational amplifiers and, therefore, either a stereo configuration or a bridge configuration of the audio amplifier. The input terminal of the comparator may be connected to an input pin or to the SVR pin of the amplifier and a biasing DC voltage level may be imposed thereto through external biasing means for selecting the desired configuration.
