    摘要: A rubber mold for molding a resin 2 is provided with a cavity 213 for filling therein a thermoplastic resin in a molten state by applying pressure. The rubber mold 2 includes a core mold 21 made of a rubber material and provided with the cavity 213 and a base mold 22 made of a rubber material and having such a shape that the core mold 21 is to be placed therein. The core mold 21 is formed by combining a pair of split mold parts 211 which is divided on splitting surfaces 212 for opening the cavity 213. The base mold 22 has a bottom part 221 and a pair of first side parts 222 formed on two opposite sides in a direction in which the plurality of split mold parts are aligned with each other.

    摘要: A process and an apparatus for molding, in which a molten thermoplastic resin is firmly fitted onto a molding surface of a mold under a pressure lower than or equal to 100 kg/cm.sup.2 and is cured to obtain a molded product. The molding apparatus has a mold main body, and a mold body on which the molding surface is defined. The mold body is supported relative to the mold main body with maintaining a space on the back side of the molding surface in a heat insulative manner by a supporting member which includes at least a heat insulative supporting member having a thermal conductivity of 0.001 to 1 Kcal/mh .degree.C. and a longitudinal elastic modulus of 0.01 to 10 kg/cm.sup.2.
