摘要: A transfer apparatus, for molding a resin on a substrate using a mold on which a pattern is formed and releasing the mold from the resin to transfer the pattern onto the substrate, includes a charge removing device configured to remove a charge of the mold, and a detector configured to detect an electric potential of the mold. The charge removing device is configured to remove the charge of the mold if the electric potential of the mold detected by the detector is not less than a predetermined value.

摘要: In press molding or embossing a thermoplastic resin for producing a molded product excellent in transferability of microscopic surface asperities and having high quality with high productivity, a preform of a thermoplastic resin is heated to about the hardening temperature of the thermoplastic resin constituting the preform. The preform is embedded between an upper half and a lower half of a mold which are maintained at a temperature of about the hardening temperature of the thermoplastic resin, and then the mold is closed at a low pressure. Carbon dioxide is dissolved in a surface of the preform by charging carbon dioxide between a surface of the mold and the surface of the preform in order to reduce the viscosity of the preform surface. The surface of the mold is brought into contact with the preform having the reduced surface viscosity by increasing a pressing pressure. Then, carbon dioxide is discharged, and a molded product is extracted. Thus, the molded product excellent in transferability of microscopic surface asperities and having high quality can be produced with high productivity.

摘要: When resins are injected into a cavity 104 of an injection mold 101 separably formed of a movable mold 102 and an immovable mold 103 to form a casting, a high-pressure gas is supplied into the cavity 104 during a time period after completion of forming the casting till the injection mold 101 opens partway, and the high-pressure gas is allowed to jet out through a clearance formed between joint surfaces of the movable and immovable molds 102, 103 while the injection mold is opening. More than one attraction gripper is used to hold, move and place an insert at a predetermined position in the injection mold. Magnetic shielding is provided between the injection mold and a magnet embedded at the predetermined position in the injection mold to restrict a leakage of a magnetic flux into the injection mold.

摘要: An improved method of imprint lithography involves using direct fluid pressure to press the mold into a substrate-supported film. Advantageously the mold and/or substrate are sufficiently flexible to provide wide area contact under the fluid pressure. Fluid pressing can be accomplished by sealing the mold against the film and disposing the resulting assembly in a pressurized chamber. It can also be accomplished by subjecting the mold to jets of pressurized fluid. The result of this fluid pressing is enhanced resolution and high uniformity over an enlarged area.

摘要: A mold apparatus and method is used to form a solid injection molded plastic part having no internal voids, a Class A finish, a sink-free exterior appearance surface, and unevenly distributed structural detail extending from the opposite surface, the detail including free-standing reinforcement ribs, attachment bosses, and the like. A charge of hot melted thermoplastic and pressurized gas are sequentially injected into a mold cavity defining the shape of the desired part, the plastic not filling the cavity and being simultaneously received in shaped recesses and grooves which form the structural detail. The pressurized gas forces the hot plastic from one mold half against the other mold half, and into the recesses and grooves, and is maintained during cooling. A gas seal is formed by the plastic to prevent gas in the mold cavity from reaching the finished exterior surface of the part during shrinkage of the plastic. Gas inlets and plastic volume areas cooperate with rib forming chambers to enhance resin distribution in the cavity. Importantly, the gas can be reclaimed, such as for recirculation and cooling.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a material processing method and a molding machine used therein. The molding machine includes a pressing module, a heating module, and an air supplying module. The method includes: placing material to be processed within a material molding space of the molding machine, and supplying air to an air passage provided in the material by the air supplying module; heating the material by the heating module according to a preset heating parameter; and pressing the material by the pressing module according to a preset pressing parameter. The present disclosure can avoid abnormal shape changes caused during secondary processing operations and ensure the molding effect to a greatest extent.
