    摘要: A steering system has a pair of rectangular frames for suspending rear wheels of a motor vehicle. Each frame is rotatably supported on eccentric portions formed on both sides of a shaft which is longitudinally disposed and rotatably mounted on a body of the vehicle. Accordingly, by rotating the shaft, the frame is deformed by deviation of axes of the eccentric portion to turn the rear wheels.

An outer control arm is rotatably connected on an end of the rack, and an inner control arm is rotatably supported on the cross-member. The other ends of both control arms are rotatably connected with each other by a kingpin. A rear wheel of the vehicle is rotatably mounted on a shaft secured to the outer control arm, and a steering drive device is provided to move the rack for steering.

    摘要: A final reduction gear comprising a pair of bevel gears are provided between a rear drive shaft and a rar axle shaft. A pair of oil hydraulic clutches are provided on both ends of the rear axle shaft for transmitting output of the final reduction gear to rear wheels of a motor vehicle respectively. Pressure of oil appplied to each of the clutches is controlled in accordance with driving conditions of the vehicle thereby controlling transmitting torque capacity of each clutch at cornering.

    摘要: A steering system for rear wheels of a motor vehicle is provided with a motor for changing the steering angle of the rear wheels and an electric control unit. The control unit produces a desired steering angle signal dependent on the speed of the vehicle and compares the actual steering angle of the rear wheels with the desired steering angle signal. A control signal dependent on the result of the comparison is applied to a driver which drives the motor so that the steering angle of the rear wheels coincides with the desired steering angle.

    摘要: A vehicle control apparatus includes a first section that recognizes a lane boundary line of a lane in which a vehicle is traveling. A second section recognizes a present position of a predetermined reference point of the vehicle. A third section calculates a predicted position of the reference point, wherein the predicted position is a predetermined interval ahead of the present position. A fourth calculates an imaginary lane boundary line, wherein the imaginary lane boundary line is tangent to the lane boundary line at a point close to the predicted position. A fifth section performs a control of preventing the vehicle from deviating from the lane by controlling the vehicle depending on positional relationship between the vehicle and the lane boundary line. A sixth section selectively permits and suppresses the control depending on positional relationship among the imaginary lane boundary line, the present position, and the predicted position.
